I wear an 8.5-9 in shoes normally and an 8 was way too big. These are gorgeous but run so big, like almost 2 sizes too big just an fyi for anyone interested in these.

Thank you for this!! I'm in between these and the 1461s, and while I'm drawn to these I'm scared the platforms are too chunky and I'd look weird wobbling around in them. Do you think the platforms are too tall/uncomfortable?

Hi! In my opinion, the Hollys are not too tall or chunky. It did take some time to get used to since the platforms make the shoes heavier on the bottom. They are also a bit stiff in the beginning so it will take a couple of weeks to break in like the other pairs of docs. They are definitely not comfortable enough to be everyday shoes, but not as uncomfortable as I expected them to be. If possible, I would recommend trying them on in a store before you make the decision, hope this helps!

with the holly they run a bit large so i would recommend that you get size 6

Hi! the Holly run a bit oversized (longer and wider). I usually wear size 6 or 6.5 in other shoes like Nike and Adidas. I went with the size 5 Hollys and they are still a tiny bit loose. If you are more in between 6-6.5, I would say get a 5, if you are more in between 6.5-7, I would say get a 6. I’m so sorry if this didn’t help but hope it does :)

I’m a 7-7.5. I usually buy all my docs in a 7. Should I get a 6 or 7 ? 😥
