Just bought them recently! I'm a size 7 and it's crazy because I was holding off buying them for a few hours and it was gone, later (another hour or so) I bought it when I got the email update and soon after my size was all sold out. Been eyeballing these for awhile and finally bought a pair the other day! They’re my 4th pair of Doc Martens. I’m usually a size 6 but I downsized since I bought some sandals in a smaller size and they fit good. 👌🏿

@@EuqinimodArt Oh that’s good to know. I never had platform Dr Martens. But I do have a pair of platform Buffalo sneakers that I never really wear bc the platform is too heavy to wear comfortably. That plus Dr Marten’s ‘unbreakable’ feature, I was rather worried that that would be a killer combination 😂 Now I feel a bit closer to pull the trigger. Also, I am eying the ‘Holly’, with two eyes and satin laces, maybe that would even make things worse for having less support…oh …well..how should I justify 😂

You should be fine. I sized down and it fits perfectly. I even had to buy a heel insert. You’d rather have them fit tight or else they can slip off your heels.

My sister has some size 6, 1461 and they fit pretty big on the heel, it slips out, the rest feels good though. I tried some 1461s in the store in size 5 but they were way too small, made me even walk differently. Will 1853 run a bit bigger than 1461 so that a size 6 will be even bigger?

The biggest problem I experienced with them is they don’t follow my foot while walking, even the size suits me perfectly, which is really annoying, cus the socks are also not going to stay where they are and constantly slipping. I end up solving this problem by lacing them really tight and put some silicone protectors on the back of my ankle. What can I say… a pain in the ass but they are truly so cute.

Maryam Saif We’re the same size and size 6 works for me. Size 7 will slip off your feet. But If you have wide feet, size 7 might work.

The padding helps a little but they still hurt 😢. I would say the 1461 is more wearable because they don’t have the platform. The thick platform makes them pretty stiff.

Hi there, I just bought these in 6 and tried it on with athletics socks and just regular ones and My heel slips easily out not like when I walk but If I try to remove the shoes I can just slip out.. Yes, i think it softens up as you wear it more. I wouldn't get a size 7 because your heel will slip out of them.

I just got the 8053 quad platforms and i think they fit, my feet get in easily and they dont slip out. The only thing is that they hurt my pinky toe... Do i size up?

I wear Uniqlo socks! They have nice neutral colors and it’s thick enough for doc martens

I have a question about comfort in this boots - there are peanuts or other small rubbish on the pavement, you would walk over them and you wouldn't even feel it? Or you feel anythings under boots?

You wouldn’t be able to feel it. It’s pretty thick and chunky.

8053 looks better but its very heavy. 1461 is more comfortable.

Yes, i sized down!! If they are too big, your heel will slip out of them.

it's definitely worth splurging on great quality shoes that will last you forever than something that's gonna either hurt your feet or fall to pieces. i used to wear birkenstock dupes and they really messed up my feet
