It was held in Mason Temple, our World Headquarters, in January of 1990. I was there. Bishop Patterson was the Son-in-Law of the Founder, Bishop Mason, and the First Cousin of the late Bishop Gilbert E. Patterson, our 6th Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop. Bishop Mason passed away in 1961, just about thirty years before this. Bishop Patterson's service was a grand and glorious Celebration and, of course, our beloved and legendary International Music President, Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, was never better. The entire Music Department was awesome on that day as always....they *_HAD_* to be, if they wanted to sing under her, she expected, demanded, and received, nothing less than perfection - for the glory of God.
