Carbohydrates are needed for protein and lipid metabolism..so don't avoid Rice or Wheat in your Diet.

We have been taught to eat to fill up stomachs without realising whether what we are eating has nutrients. White rice is the worst among all. Both rice and wheat have been thrusted on us traditionally and it is not easy to remove them from our diet unless you change your mindset. Eat complex carbs and increase proteins in your diet. Almost all millets belong to complex carb category, so what the doctor is saying is correct. Be aware of what you are eating and research yourself ; do not believe what others are saying.

Sir.iam diabetic from past 16 years. According nin .I should not take some fruits like banana.but iam taking banana instead of taking cooked breakfast. My hba1c levels became below 7.befor taking banana 10.5.according to naturopathy nin is not completely correct

You don't choose it. Your doctor will decide based on your body constitution. Indicriminate use of PPIs(Rabe, pan, omez etc) is dangerous. Exercise for 45 mins a day and avoid caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea, n so on). Drink 3-litre water everyday n sleep well.

Doctor garu, I have been a type 2 diabetic since 2014. Since then, my hba1c has never been more than more than 7. I have been taking sitagliptin 100 mg for the last 2 years. My weight is also constantly at 70 kgs (+ 1 or minus). But, whoever meets me day that I have run down. What should I do to look a little bit plump? Pl guide.
