The tomahawk topspin looked under to him apparently. Great weapon. Very timely.

can you tell me your sponge size?
@ndragon882 жыл бұрын
Yay! Back to anti/LPs style. Interesting you went with 2.1 sponge. Less controlled. I can see sometimes the ball flies. Have you tried the 2.3 or 2.5? Unlucky in the final btw, I think you win that if you had more time to get used to the red anti
@LeonardoArata2 жыл бұрын
I think that the ball flies because I don't know exactly how to play in that time, haha I think for me is more difficult to use 2.5mm since they are slow and the mechanic for long pips is way more different than 1.8mm which I tested yesterday, so I went back to LP and now I'm going back to anti, let's see!
@ndragon882 жыл бұрын
@@LeonardoArata yes that's true. Anti plays quite different to LPs though. Haha back and fourth are you doing it for testing or do you jave a preference?
@andreasweiss81952 жыл бұрын
Congratulation to your style. I switch from LP to Anti, because I saw you and Andrea Aschi's videos. I will get my equipment tomorrow. Matador, ABS Pro and Bluestorm 2.1 in blue. If this doesn't work in the way I want, is it possible to play with this fast blade and a LP OX on it. Because I am offensiv in forehand and I don't want to switch to defensiv blades anymore. Its so exhausting to make offensiv strokes. Do you have experience with that?
@LeonardoArata2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I used to play with Joola Chen Weixing but I do prefer carbon blades, Dr. Neubauer Texa Carbon fits the best for me, you should give it a try. How is it going with the new setup with ABS Pro?
@andreasweiss81952 жыл бұрын
@@LeonardoArata I tried the ABS Pro but for me its way to slow. If someone plays to your backhand all the time with no spin you'll have a hard time. Next I tried Störkraft 1.2 Its the same. Last try was Super Glanti 0.8 (All of them on the Matador Texa Carbon) This one is faster, but somehow good offensiv player have no problem at all to hit every single ball. I still try. Maybe I don't have the right technic. To play with Matador and Troublemaker or any other LP rubber is still better. Its hard to play offensiv with all of them anyway. So I will keep on trying😊

I wonder the difference between abs2 evo and trouble maker. is it easy to strong push with abs2 ? I like your play.. !
@LeonardoArata2 жыл бұрын
Very different, frictionless anti spin and long pips are very different, I can't say whats easy because mechanically could be more difficult for me but easier for you. All I can say is they are very different.

You have any interest in playing an event here in Louisiana? We have a few 2200 and a 2650, along with several 2000 players. I would consider paying your flight, if I could get a day or two of lessons. I have adopted your style and even though I am just starting to play tournaments I am coming on pretty rapidly. I am beating a 2200 on occasion( two matches in a row two days ago) I am ~1600 right now, but am due for a spike. If you are interested, it is the first week of April check out the flights to New Orleans and if reasonable, I will pay for them. The top players coming to this event are Ofo( Nigerian-2600 and Jimmy Butler. Let me know, bv

She should stop playing short pips on forehand she is just not consistent with it and doesn’t smash the ball just blocks it. Also need to adapt the technique for anti not long pips on the backhand . She has potential but needs these adjustments to take it to the next level. Evo is a good rubber with good balance of control and deception when applied with the right technique . It s not the most deceptive rubber by any means . Barna SG is basically without any competition on that field
