So Allah blessed me with seeing shaykh omar suleiman yesterday and the day before. It was the first time i was seeing him outside KZbin lol. It was so so so emotional and I couldn’t stop my tears and couldn’t stop thanking Allah enough to have given me this gift.. he is my ustadh my mentor someone i look up to.. and i kept on wondering what it would feel like to meet our Prophet ﷺ whom we had been listening about our whole life and the companions and other Prophets SubhanAllah. I heard about your mother 2 years back. Now my mother lost her voice due to throat cancer and still struggling with pain due to recurrent cancer. I often remember your mother whenever I am seeing my mother's struggles. Indeed Allah SWT cleansing her sins with these tests and trails !! I was reading a reddit post not too long ago about what people wanted when they get to Jannah, and something I’ve realized. . . We’re all still children at heart. The answers I saw were so unique yet so goofy. Like something we’d think about as kids. I think that’s the beauty of Islam as well. The struggles we experience in this dunya sometimes hardens us, and we forget what it feels like to be young and daydream, but in Jannah, all of our wackiest thoughts will come true, by the will of Allah Azzawajal! We just have to strive for it just a little longer, and soon we get to experience everything pure and innocent the kids in us used to daydream about. No responsibilities. No more worries. No fear of being judged or shamed for “doing too much” InshAllah, we all are admitted in paradise.

That's exactly my answer if I was asked the same question. That pause when Dr. Omar was imagining his first meet with his Mother took me to a visionary journey of mine too. Because all I think is reuniting with my Mother in the greatest place, Jannah (In Sha Allah). Thanking Allah (SWT) for giving me what I don't deserve, looking at my mother without blinking my eyes literally (if possible), giving a long loving hug that I have been waiting for, all those endless talks that are pending. Even if I don't make it to the Jannah, I hope at least my mother gets the honor to be placed in Jannah, In Sha Allah. Ameen.
