He also accepted his past missteps. This is the first time I have heard a highly regarded scholar and a person piety and taqwa publicly acknowledged his own mistakes. Subhan Allah! This episode is extraordinary and highly enlightening. We need to listen and think. After listening to this, it reminded me of the story you shared last Tuesday re: Huzaifah (RA) whose father Al-Yamani was martyred by mistake as a result of mistaken identity. I think a lot of times, we bring down our own brothers and sisters, based on our assumptions and misunderstandings instead of looking beyond our snap judgement. Remember, as Muslims we must not support it, but we must respect them because they are HUMANS. It is haram to support and it is also haram to harass others. Do not harass them, but do explain in a calm way once or twice that it isn't good, if they do not listen, you still did good. My dear father passed from covid in Jan 2021 and your bereavement series allowed me to guide my mother and siblings through the trauma we faced and I was able to hold it together. I will forever be grateful to Allah swt for strengthening my imaan through you at the time as my family lost the ceiling to our home. May Allah azzawajal continue to make you a source of goodness for our ummah and make you a better muslim than people know. Allahumma ameen

As a Christian, I'm absolute reject LGBT and I believe all religion teaching is all the same, to fight LGBT who deviate from their supposed teachings. We all come from Adam and Eve not from Adam and Steve.
