I am from Karnataka. I grew up listening to her songs in Kannada.She has sung 1000s of songs in Kannada. For singers music comes first and then the language. Also, in those days singers didn't make money. They were not paid like present day singers. She has made thousands and thousands of people happy with her sweet voice and we should be grateful for that.
