Located in Nashik, this home derives its inspiration from the traditional concept of 'wada' prevalent in Maharashtra. It brings back the nostalgia of the bygone era. A combination of simple design, natural materials and traditional elements, gives the house it's unique identity. The large expanse of greens surround the site gives a calming appeal to the house.
Architect Dhananjay Shinde from Nashik narrates the design of this beautiful luxury house belonging to Nashik's leading eye surgeon.

This is how most traditional houses in Kerala are built. In fact lot of them are still constructed in this way. The courtyard also can be used for Rainwater Harvesting purpose n for ventilation. Openfeel to the house. I only wish you had taken us on a tour of the various rooms.

I mst say the courtyard around which the aura u created, the central theme of the entire house is actually vry tiny as compared to the land u r provided with. It seems u paid the least attention to the courtyard. Otherwise the overall house is very nice👍👍👍

Beautiful Concept very well planned Does it have Water Harvesting Pit down the Courtyard. I am going to be shifting soon to Nashik - I had only visited once & loved the surrounding Mountains Skyline while going out of Nashik over the flyover to Mumbai. What could be the cost of a project for a smaller house & land which is easier to maintain around 10 - 20 Guntha land & a bungalow of 2 Bedrooms & Huge open areas which are covered by the same roofing. I don't know anything about Nashik

You should expect 75lacs to 1.25 crore for 10-20guntha for land in tier 2 zones in city. And construction cost ranges from 1500- 2000Rs/sq ft (excluding interior designs, furniture n all)

Traditional houses are awesome, also the videos are getting better 👍. Understood whats where, but didn't get the top floor and other areas below opposite to the drawing and kitchen. Centre pieces are my favorite, like the traditional way, but the tree can grow big and hurt the house or else.? Why not tulsi plant there.? And why is the roof too much inclined inside on the tree? Where will the rain water go.? All my queries.
