Hightown Yes, it's pretty obvious this is what they are doing. And AOC, besides her green new deal, calls herself the "BOSS" and people's "SUPERIOR" already. Less than a year into her tenure as a congresswoman!!! I can't believe many Americans will vote in 2020 for health care for illegal immigrants before they even have it for themselves! Democrats are insane to think the country can manage free health care for any one who shows up on the doorstep, while they leave the door wide open. Think of the chaos and destruction to the country and the economy if they even tried. Their compassion is a thin disguise for their real goal, POWER. Just like you said.

Yup and the windmills only run at 38% efficiency [have to be switched off if too windy or no wind]. They have to be replaced every 20-25 years. They have to be [expensively] connected to the national grid, as a conventional power station has to be running in case these aren't [so a waste of time]. The resources used to make them emit a lot of their precious CO2 and causes human misery [as in china, people are forced out of areas to gain the metals needed for the magnets] and deforestation/land pollution. They are an eyesore, generate noise and kill birds too. The tech is not their yet for the solar panels either. The only benefits are the manufactures/installers and politicians [back handers] etc.

What a gracious and beautiful statement about mankind's role in the world. Science is science, based on facts. Politics is ... well ... crap, based on innuendo, demonizing, and power-monging. Thank you, Gov Huckabee, for providing this platform, and thank Dr Patrick Moore for being unafraid to continue speaking a truth based on facts, not political posturing. A favorite quote (a supposed quote) comes from the brilliant mind, Galileo, who was brought before high courts for his blasphemy before God by saying that the Earth rotated around a solar system as opposed to the dictatorial thought of the day saying that the Earth was the center of the universe. Although he was esteemed by many for his intellect and contributions, he was brought before a tribunal with the very real consequence of being hanged for heresy. After having been verbally accosted, dressed-down, and threatened with torture, he recanted his words under duress. Yet, as he left the trial, he uttered the phrase, "E'pur si muove." "And yet, it moves." The skies and solar system move. Indeed, facts matter. Keep it up, Dr Moore!

Agree with the Dr Moore's statements and views on the ecosystem and how go about maintaining it. A healthy ecosystem is life promoting and is the result of various things developing in harmony and equilibrium. If the wrong parts of the whole are either selected and facilitated to grow, or "invented/created", the whole system overrides it, and if the speed of the damaging inventions is increased the end result is chaos. That must be why totalitarianism yields chaos and why freedom is intuitively favored since it tends to favor a less chaotic state of favorable energy. Likewise, prevalence of extremes yields fighting and destruction. Science is not the same thing than fashion.

@@MFink-oq5hy if you look at the global historical temperature, the charts before the most recent ones that have been changed quite a bit, you will find that the Earth goes through warming and cooling cycles. in fact, you can go to one of NASA's websites, Earth Observatory, and read a LOT of articles about how the Sun effects our climate. the last time the Sun entered a Minimus cycle was pre-industrial revolution. Solar activity has been increasing ever since then, till this year. At the time when the Sun went into Minimus, we had the Little Ice Age. it was we are about to enter or are entering Solar Cycle 25. Solar Activity is rapidly declining and NASA is predicting it to continue to decline, we are entering another Minimus phase of Solar Activity. Noone actually knows how much effect it will have on global temperatures but last time we entered a mini ice age. One thing NASA does state is that Solar Activity has AT LEAST AS MUCH to do with global warming AS ALL GREENHOUSE GASES COMBINED but they do say they are not sure how much more effect it has. and these are ACTUAL SCIENTISTS who have been studying the atmosphere, the Sun and our Solar System for decades. they are the ones who developed the instruments to do the majority of data collection that climate "scientists" use for their "studies".

Sarahs dad is a smart man , who would have thunk it . Dr.Moore brings up some very iinteresting points.Animals only startred life on earth after millions and millions of years of plant life. The plant life used cabon and sunshine and gave off a waste gas, that gas was oxygen and until enough oxygen was in the air no animal life could exsist. Also no fire, nothing could rot or took a very long time to decompose . Earth has never had a balanced eco system . On type of life will abound untill another type of life takes advantage of the waste given off by the first type ,then things and balances change . People are to wrapped up in the now, they forget or refuse to admit things were far,far differant in the past. If you use a one foot ruler to represent the entire age of the earth. Human life on earth would be smaller than a pencil line at the very extreme end of the ruler. Sometimes I wonder why people think they are so important .

I live In northern Alberta where the landscape is spotty patches of sickly looking spruce trees, marshy muskeg, and corridors of popular down river banks where there is both enough water for a broad leaf tree to survive and solid enough earth for a tree to grow out of. Raspberry and blueberry bushes are common but that's about the only fruit bearing plant out here. And it's been super dry for almost a month. The forest is a tinderbox. Yet the muskeg seems to never dry up as I repeatedly get boot soakers. I thought to myself my geez it's a good thing co2 is going up I am surprised anything even grows up here. If we went back to 280ppm many parts of the boreal forest would surely just wither away and never recover. It is a hair away from being Arctic desert. Warmer and wetter would be a blessing.

rustyscrapper I live on the shore of Lake Huron, in Ontario, and have seen nothing of the supposed warming they've been saying our weather has been, since 2005/6 consistently. But things are growing very well. They even reported that the lake has been twice as warm as global temperatures have been. I dispute that. The lake is especially high right now, we've lost almost all our beach (my neighbourhood stairs down to the lake, end in the water, just about). Of course leftists are attributing the high lake level to WARMING. A couple of years ago we had the longest, coldest winter that I can remember. Snow started the first of October (which is very rare here)and stayed right through until half way through May. This is very late for spring. 92% of the entire Great Lakes was completely frozen that winter, also very rare. Overall winters have been longer, with less snow than usual. I only had to shovel my drive once last winter and we live on the leeside of the lake in a snow belt. This last winter started as usual but lasted until May again. We've had the coldest, slowest start to summer that I can ever recall. And there's been no especially warm days so far or record temperatures at all. I've been paying attention to the weather channel as well and the reports are reliably "BELOW" averages. I don't see how other people aren't noticing the same disconnect from what they are witnessing and what they are being told. I just don't trust the messenger any more!

@@Aliveandkick8 I live in Arkansas USA and our summers are usually hot and dry. i normally dont have to mow my lawn from mid-June to late August- early September due to lack of rain and hot temp keeping it dead. I have had to mow it every week all summer this year mostly due to plenty of rain and cooler temps. this year we have only had a few days above 95 deg.F. instead of 2-3 months and its rained enough to give farmers problems getting their crops in the ground and they have not had to irrigate very much at all. Its been the COOLEST Summer i can ever remember in my 50 years , most of which spent living in this area.

Dr Patrick Moore is one of the more compelling speakers advocating this position, and I’ve enjoyed listening to him speaking against the consensus of most scientists. What is really disappointing about trying to learn more on the subject from KZbin is that the most viewed videos coming including this one involve a scientist (usually retired, and usually not a climate scientist as in this case) who dissents from the most common view (which is fine) but who is interviewed by someone who already agrees with his point of view yet knows nothing about the subject (“solar panels on a plane might be a great idea .. but not at night“ is Mike’s most useful contribution) and who doesn’t challenge any of his data or statements. What we badly need is to get these guys (e.g. Dr Patrick Michaels, Dr Nils Axel-Mörner, Dr Patrick Moore, Professor William Happer, Myron Ebell) in a debate with some eloquent current climate scientists who disagree with them, otherwise lay people like me and the huge majority of those commenting in favour of this video won’t be able to judge whether the contentions of these interviewees are valid.

@5:55 Banning CO2 would be equally difficult as you'd have to hold your breath. And plants need that to produce the oxygen that goes into the air that we and all other animal life needs to breath.

Dr. Patrick Moore is an intellectual scientist who unlike many of us, has taken life through education seriously. He may have common sense but most importantly he has knowledge that not to many of us have. I personally recommend that he be on the Trump Administration. We the people need the best of the best. As usual the left will tell you one thing when the exact opposite is occurring. Folks, do some research on Grand Solar Minimums, and what happens to the Earth and Civilizations when they occur. I'm not talking about solar minimums, which occur as part of the solar cycle that lasts approximately 11 years. GSM's happen when the solar output from several solar cycles in a row are lower than normal. Solar cycle 24 is just about over (in ~6 months) and was lower than normal. Solar cycle 25 is predicted to be at or below the level of cycle 24, and predictions for the next several cycles after that are predicted to be even lower. We are just entering the Eddy Minimum (yes it's already been named). The Maunder Minimum occurred during the little ice age. If you find some non-biased literature and read about the history of GSM's you'll find that they are bad news and involve, crop failure, famine, disease, civil unrest, and several times resulted in the collapse in major civilizations. So while the far left is telling everyone the world is going to end due to "climate change" they are accidentally right, but it won't be from "global warming" or CO2, it will more than likely be from the cold. All of the warm periods during human existence (and there have been several warmer than where we are now) have been beneficial and were associated with prosperous times. Now if I haven't scared you enough...do some research on magnetic waning and magnetic reversal and see how the world fared. Hint, our magnetosphere is waning and the waning has been accelerating for the last few decades. One of the main things associated with magnetic reversals are mass extinctions. Cheers! What I just laid out makes a half a degree C of warming pretty tolerable eh?
