I saw an angel when I was 6 years old. It was leaning against the neighbors house. I ran inside to get my mom, and it was gone. I've met many people that have seen angels & even been helped by them. They're very real, but I can see why it would be hard to just have faith, and not have seen with your own eyes. Every time people try to get me into Buddhism or yogi etc, I just chuckle & tell them, I believe in the God of Abraham, because of what I've seen with my own eyes. My mother had faith, never seeing anything at all, but she still knew.

Angels can transform into men. Read in Genesis 17 and 18 that angels came as men/ strangers. What did the three strangers reveal to Abraham? One day on the plains of Mamre, Abraham and Sarah were visited by three strangers. Abraham offered them food and drink, as was customary in the Jewish faith. They revealed themselves as angels and said that they brought a message from God that Sarah would become pregnant. Read about Sodom and Gomorrah. God sent messenger angels to destroy 5 cities. The angels came as "men". God did not send men to destroy the cities. When in this earthly, not Heavenly realm the spirit is clothed... with skin. Even satan can transform/ shapeshift. IMHO, depending on the hierarchy of the angel, they could transform into multiple types of beings, ie. animals, sea, or even bird creatures. If it’s as simple as you want to make it then they would have said it, but Zeus is mentioned twice in Acts. That’s not who they identify with. Acts 14:8-13 and a boat with Zeus sons name Acts 28:11. Also have the deuterocanonical book of 2 Maccabees 6:1, 2 talks of King Antiochus IV (Epiphanes), who in his attempt to stamp out the Jewish religion, directed that the temple at Jerusalem be profaned and rededicated to Zeus (Jupiter Olympius). Which if you understand the Bible at all Jesus Christ (the I am) did look to setup any temple to worship at.
