The Amish ARE getting out to vote this time. The regulations our govt wants to put on this community of farmers is truly disgusting. Our govt went after Amos Miller like he was a criminal, and this poor gentleman did nothing wrong. I think that's another reason the Amish are voting this year. Glad they are...

I live about 10 minutes from Amos Miller and I agree. Unless you grow the produce and raise the cows, chicken, pork beef yourself your NEVER going to get any 'Fresher" and "Healthier" than the local farms in the area!! The Government and Masanna want to put these farmers out of business so that they "The Government" can "Control The Food" and fill it all up with Dangerous Hormones, Insects and other unhealty God only knows WHAT. Thanks Dr. Phil for giving all of us a real look at the people in this swing state. I am from the South and have never been in Pennsylvania, but listening to the interviews, I was surprised to see that their points of view are exactly like ours in Louisiana…………on both sides. Voters in this election are more passionate about their vote this time. I have not heard anyone say they were struggling to decide which candidate they would like to see in office. I think we all needed the reminder that we are all Americans, and everyone wants the same thing: success for our country, a safe place to live and raise a family, opportunity for everyone to get a good education and be able to get a job, to be able to freely talk state our opinion etc. Here is the truth about the people in our country: Most people are good and would be would be willing to help their neighbor, even though the media shows us at our worst. We need to realize that good news does not sell, but bad news does. We are all better than the extreme left or right. Most Americans love our country and each other. God Bless our country.

Amish country in Pennsylvania is beautiful! Last year I drove from Illinois to Boston. I got frustrated with the dead stop road construction I decided I'm a country girl, before the interstate that was the only option. Since I drove out by myself I had all the time in the world. I found several antique stores, little shops at people's homes in a machine shed, The best homemade ice cream in a fresh, homemade waffle cones made on sight that was unforgettable 😋 You got to enjoy the turning of the leaves and amazing colors at this time of year I hope. I wish the world could see the northeast in the fall with the leaves in such vivid colors, no picture or painting could ever duplicate what the naked eyes see in nature

We have a lovely Amish community in KS and while our lifestyles and some opinions might differ, we all Love God and live our lives in the way we each feel best for ourselves. We live in harmony, bc the ways we are alike are so much more important than the ways we differ. Our country has kindof lost sight of harmony. I personally think cancel culture, the Unethical Mainstream media (that USED to report the news) & the uncontrolled (people's choices to be uncontrolled - not talking about censorship)rhetoric to lie and dehumanize a political candidate is greatly to blame. There is no doubt Dr. Phil is a Republican and loves Trump. I never used to watch his show, because it was way too overly dramatic, and people putting their dirty laundry on national TV seems pretty crappy to me. But he did have a big following, and his Merit Street TV and interviews are pretty good. And Dr. Phil is right, maybe we should spend more time listening to people from either perspective, but when you listen to people talk about their right to an abortion, or their right to groom children, to expose children to lewd sexual acts and performances, how can you ever reconcile that? How can you ever think that person is mentally stable? The abortion side I’ve never really understood, other than People want to be irresponsible with their bodies. And there was a number of complaints about Roe v. Wade for decades, and the federal government controlling that right. Now that that right is back to the states where it always should have been, people still complain about it. That I don’t understand, the others that I mentioned above and a number of others to me you’re pretty clear-cut as to why you should vote one way or another. How is it acceptable to allow the government or doctors in certain states, give your children puberty blockers, sex changing drugs, etc.??

I’ll always remember visiting the Amish Village as a child with my family and they were all so kind and my Dad bought a solid oak buffet from them for our dining room we still have today (I’m 53 now)! To say or insinuate Trump is divisive is incorrect. The team that supports him is absolutely diverse - he has young people like Vivek, Charlie Kirk, and JD; he has Tulsi Gabbard and RFK Jr; Silk from NC; Tyrus is supporting him too; Joe Rogan and the wonderful Dr Ben Carson; and OMG the biggest geek in the world, Elon. There are many other business owners and church leaders supporting the republican party. In fact, the Catholic church never gives advise on which party to vote for, but because the Democratic party has really crossed an evelish line, priests are speaking up asking us to vote for the republican party. I want to be Amish! What a wonderful way of life. Community, hardworking, focused on family, clean living. I would have loved to not have had to go past eight grade. I am the holder of two degrees. So I know education is great. But I also feel that singular living is wrong. I don’t even know how to recreate community, too many people don’t even know relax and visit your neighbors anymore.
