If I go on a dating site, I might chat with a person for one to two weeks max, and if they’re not willing to meet me in person after that point we’re done. Not to mention, I would only use a website where people can verify their photo, i.e. they have to take a real time picture of themselves from their device and post it up in the background to validate that is in fact them on the profile, if it’s not validated, I don’t know if I’m messaging an imposter!

It seems to me that the old man who claims he’s good at catching scammers online is the problem. He puts up fake profiles, so people will contact him so that he can help them if they’re being scammed? He’s the scammer. Unbelievable and what woman in her right mind would forward stuff along and ask for advice from someone else not knowing if they’re telling the truth not knowing if they’re who they claim to be and someone they’ve never met. Blows my mind, the stupidity of some people.

There’s a KZbin channel- Catfished. 99% of these scammers are from Africa especially Nigeria.

That is a non negotiable .And you are his best friend because he has no family or friends. My favorite was a guy who told me after a week that I am the love of his life. I said Jim you haven't even given me his correct family name.

I think it's Ron as well. The fact that he has 4 fake profiles already speaks volumes. I think he creates fake profiles and then contacts the people he stole the info from to "help" them. He was asking for personal info from the people he was claiming to "help". Maybe to hack them or maybe he would charge them money to take down his fake profile. IDK exactly, but he certainly seems to be the one behind everything.

& how did Dr Phil get Dylan's emails unless Ron gave them to him? But they don't seem like emails Ron would willingly hand over because they make him look bad. As soon as Ron was like, that email was for Dylan, Daniel said, I never got that email and then switched the subject. I hope by the end of the episode Dr Phil traces Dylan. If not, why even do the show?
