Meet Dr. Lisa Jones one of the three female vets at Pol Veterinary Services, including Dr. Nicole Arcy and Dr. Brenda Grettenberger. Dr. Lisa, a graduate of Cornell Veterinary School, is one of the newest veterinarians in Nat Geo WILD's hit reality series "The Incredible Dr. Pol". Dr. Lisa tells us about her first year as a veterinarian, what it's like to be on call at the clinic, and her experience being home schooled up until college. Dr. Lisa also discusses working with animals like potbelly pigs, and what she likes most about the job.

Your show has been so successful because there’s not many, if there is any, shows like it! You guys show a lot of important information that could help many animal owners across the world when in need. I find it interesting that you guys show anything from small animals like ferrets to large animals like Cows and Horses. Can’t wait till the new season gets into Disney plus, I will definitely be binge watching it!!

The maority of vets today, especially new vets, are all about the $$ and social status. They prey on our love and concerns for our pets. I'd get a new vet if I were you.

I'll admit it, I have somewhat of a crush on her. I have Spectrum and in that "deal" with Disney Nat Geo Wild got dropped. It's irritating because Dr. Pol is one of the very few shows I watch. This will probably happen when the contract expires with AT&T U-Verse and Direct TV too. Supposedly we will get free and unlimited access to Disney+ and ESPN+ but it's just not the same as watching it on a bigger TV screen.

Dr Lisa, please tell that that tech with the pretty long reddish hair, that when a cat is nervous it is best to stroke gently down the back don't put your fingers on the neck or head and then pet by opening and closing your hand gain and again. That kind of petting makes them quite nervous as I have seen it do on a number of shows. I
