I got one of these on a whim. That was maybe two years ago - and honestly it works so well that my Stihl trimmers only get used sparingly now. The power, the strength of the trimmer line and the ability to weed/cut farther away from you (which reduces cut weed blowback) makes it my go to.

Great job with the DR! Brian, get you some Duck Boots to wear in places where there might be snakes! It might save your life. My girlfriend was watering her flowers at dusk and was bitten by a venomous snake. She spent several days in the hospital. Your’s is the only lawn care video I still watch. That's quite the machine! If I had one of those I'd be running all over my neighborhood doing work for free just to have a chance to use it. It wouldn't be allowed around the canal banks and lakes here because causing grass/weeds/etc to fall in the water gets you a hefty fine. But everywhere else would be great. I do have to wonder what the reaction of a gator would be! LOL

Trimmer/mower worked like a champ. You did a great job. I think I remember watching the first time you did a pond it was fenced in at the back of a property years ago. Not sure if it's the same one. There was a bird in the other one. I remember being touched in the heart because of how bad you felt about that even though it was an accident. I've used a trimmer mower on my late mother's property, getting the ditch in front of her house done in half the time(if not more)than what a 'regular' weed trimmer would do. It IS a definite back saver. Great job Brian! :)

(There is an area in my yard that I just let get overgrown since I can't bring a mower in, and it is too big for using the regular weed wacker, something like that might do the trick.)
