Dr. Prashanth AIR 78 On Clearing UPSC CSE 2023 In His First Attempt After MBBS

Dr. Prashanth S, an MBBS doctor from Madras Medical College, achieved AIR 78 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023 in his first attempt. He opted for Medical Science as his optional subject
Dr. Prashanth is also involved in several hobbies, such as being the chair of a cancer survivor support group, playing chess, and being a polyglot.
In the podcast, he shares his reaction when he saw his result and the story behind his rank 78 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. He talks about his parents' first reaction, his interests apart from academics, and why he decided to go for UPSC CSE. He explains how he managed MBBS and UPSC together and how he cracked UPSC in just 8.5 months. He also discusses his motivation during the preparation.

I have always seen guys who are like him, are incredibly genius, like him means he has more feminine traits, i have one of my friend who exactly talks like him and he is incredibly intelligent, he doesn't need to study 10 hour or 12 hour to become a topper, yes he do hardwork but an extra intelligence is there, he is also a gold medalist, has many medals trophies and in every field he goes he become the topper, and not only him, i saw other guys in our city who possess more feminine energy, are very intelligent in the field they're passionate about. Exam no. Aur candidates and competition se zyada paper ke toughness se decide hota hai. For example NEET UG mein 23 lakh bache appear karte hain aur JEE Advanced mein keval 1.9lakh. Toh tumhaee logic se toh neet zyada tough hai jabki ye sara sar galat hai. Jee adv duniya ka 2nd toughest aur india ka toughest exam hai paper level aur selection level ke karan naaki kitne bache usmein appear kar rhe hain. Toh uss hisaab se UPSC is tougher than any other exam in india except JEE Adv.

While the number of candidates is surely one of the markers to evaluate that a given exam is tough or not, but it's not the only marker to measure . Question paper difficulty, syllabus, duration, evaluation standard etc. are also to be considered.

The envy lol 😂 Many candidates clear upsc in their first attempt but its rare to see candidates do the same whilst being in touch with a curriculum as vast as mbbs. 18 gold medals shows that this guy was phenomenal with his medical studies which is so difficult to maintain and requires a lot of time. He cleared upsc with excellence in the medical arena as well. Thats what makes him unique and inspirational.

Average time to clear upsc is of 3 attempts he did it in 8 months yes he is an exceptional case.

As a MCh resident doctor from AIIMS, I can say that bagging 18 gold medals out of 19 subjects and clearing UPSC in first attempt is PHENOMENAL..❤
