Ma'am , can you please guide us regarding DNB ENT compared to MS ? And also can you please guide us regarding USMLE for fellowships after ENT ?
@drsajjan2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. Will get back to you on this .
@drsajjan Жыл бұрын
Both degrees provide a comprehensive understanding and specialized training in the field of Ear, Nose, and Throat. However, there are a few differences between DNB ENT and MS ENT, such as the governing bodies and the examination systems. DNB ENT is regulated by the National Board of Examination, whereas MS ENT is supervised by various universities. Passing the DNB examination is significantly more challenging than the MS examination. Unlike in the MS program, internal assessment scores hold no value in the DNB program. All exams and clinical assessments are conducted at various locations, sometimes even in neighboring states, where your guide or professor cannot influence the examiners to give you preferential treatment. The focus of the DNB examination is to evaluate your clinical competence and practical knowledge gained during your training, rather than your ability to memorize and regurgitate textbook information. Based on my experience, DNB candidates who are trained in busy hospitals tend to exhibit more confidence and competence compared to the average MS candidates. However, there are also exceptions to this observation. Regarding the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) for fellowships after ENT, the USMLE is a three-step examination that assesses a physician's ability to apply medical knowledge and skills in the United States. If you are interested in pursuing fellowships in the United States after completing your ENT training, it is important to understand that USMLE scores may be required or preferred by some fellowship programs. It is advisable to thoroughly research the specific requirements and guidelines of the fellowship programs you are interested in to determine if USMLE scores are necessary.

Is it really lucrative after ENT postgraduation??
@meghnachoudhury1622 Жыл бұрын
Anything can be lucrative if there's interest. Indian medical students disappoint with wrong line of questions.
