Thank you so much sir. I was the first one to hold the scalpel in the dissection hall the very first day of medical college. And that was the moment when I decided I wanted to be a surgeon. I heard many things like females can't be good surgeons, or there is a lot of traumatic atmosphere in there, or there will be no family life and satisfaction. But now I want to be a general surgeon only. I believe that I have a good visual and episodic memory and I can do very well in this field. ⚕️

I think....before choosing surgery one must binge watch Greys Anatomy....all the questions regarding Surgery....how hard the labor is....what branch is better for u....why to choose any subject....and be BEST at it....as Meredith chose General Surgery only despite being good at Neuro....and Yang choosing CTVS from day 1....to even jumping branches....taking Pediatric Sx by Alex..... it's all there man....just binge watch and feel....every thing has been beautifully explained in its own way Good luck....and yes....surgeons are born !!

But the point regarding replacement by AI , keeping in mind the current scenario of development of AI, if Medical Branches can be replaced by AI robots, Surgical branches can also be replaced by AI autonomous robots with much higher accuracy and less complication, sooner or later .

I cudnt think of other branches...its always surgery. Being female many demotivating surroundings r der...still i am crystal clear. Problem is my age.... Life made many hurdles for me . Selected during internship.. But bad moment happened, cudnt attend for counselling procedures. Many more heart breaking things happened till then. Love for surgery is still der. Worked in many hospitals.. Assisted in c-sections too. But surgery is in heart. I just worry for my age....over 35..never married , devoted myself for my profession I am giving pg exams inspite of all breaks. Don't know where life will drag me. Just becoz of age smtimes a thought come shud i take obg end branch and settle down. But ...sorry to say obg people r... Weird.🙏🏻 i don wana be in a tunnel vision. I am a dr and whole body works together as a machine. Haven't thought of money, its a kind of passion for surgery.

Never scrub in for a case without having good breakfast. Flex your toes regularly to avoid pooling of blood in lower limbs which will cause decreased cardiac return
