Robert A. Peterson (PhD, Drew University) was professor of systematic theology at two evangelical seminaries for over 35 years. He is the author of numerous books and edited works among which are: Salvation Accomplished by the Son: The Work of Christ; Salvation Applied by the Spirit: Union with Christ; Christian Theology: The Biblical Story and Our Faith (with author Christopher Morgan); and Faith Comes by Hearing: A Response to Inclusivism. He also was an editor for the ESV: Systematic Theology Study Bible.
