Wow! I can’t believe that with your level of education you still allowed your parents to decided your happiness and future. You should know that your parents will be gone soon some day. And here you are unhappy for the rest of your life. So sad. My son is well educated. He married a Chinese girl. He doesn’t ask me for advice or he will take my advice. He said he is getting marry next thing I got a invitation in the mail to there wedding. They paid everything. I just show up like a guess. She is the best thing happens to him. I alway tell her she is his better half. They have two kids. They live in a big house, traveled all over with there kids.They are very happy. My youngest son is dating a black girl and I am struggling at times with this, not because I don’t want that but I know my family have looked down on him especially my mom in law;( Every time she always say to him to get rid of her as well as the looks from my older sister in law. It hurts to see their looks of disgust. This doctor story sounds similar to a lot of other ones that has been told. All these doctors are indecisive, can't make their own decisions and at the end of the day, they always use their parents as scapegoats. One thing I know from experience working on a task force that investigates doctors for malpractice, just because a person has the perseverance and grit to push through school does not make them smart or sophisticated person. Being book smart but lacking common sense is something in its own. By all means, I'm not saying all doctors are like that but this story and the other stories that I've heard along with my experiences, makes me think otherwise.

I feel sorry and sad for your wife. It’s not fair that she is the one to be hurt. She doesn’t deserve this.
