I've learned more about the Bible from Dr. Ruckman than from any other person. The Lord forgives and He used this "junkyard dog" to teach and preach truth-He's still using him. Our pastor's wife left him with a baby when he was at PBI, he persevered and has a wonderful family. Brian Donovan's wife left him with some kids. Men, keep your eyes on the prize, the Lord Jesus Christ. In this world, you''ll have trouble, but the Lord overcame this world. What a blessing Ruckman was.

I'm so thankful Dr. Ruckman pressed forward, and God used him so mightily. And I'm thankful for his honesty. He didn't even have to explain all of this in depth. Blessings, brother. dr. Ruckman reminds me of the prophets in the old testament. The majority refused the message, but it didnt matter to God; He called them to deliver a message, and they did, and so did dr. Ruckman. Thank our Lord Jesus Christ for Mr. Ruckman.

I've seen that my entire walk with God, I see the pretenders with their fake happiness, then I see the servants of the Lord holding on thru real tough issues relationally. I trust those ones, I steer away from the fake smiley pretend ones.

A man who didn't hide things. He ran the race with endurance and ended well. If truth and learning is your aim you will profit greatly from his preaching and books, more so than any other, thats my experience. No one separates silver from dross like him, and he's not a showman or showboater like so many. True promoter of the only Holy Bible, all since 1892 are imposters.

I thought marriage was two becoming one flesh? Not a wedding ceremony/paperwork. According to the bible marriage is: "And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh." (Mark 10:8). Paul defines what twain becoming one flesh is in 1 Cor 6:16 - "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh". The bible says this physical act of "joining" is what marriage is, not the paperwork/ceremony. Ruckman used to teach this in one of his books, I'm not sure why he went back on this.

Why do you think that God used a marriage ceremony in the bible, in the Gospels?? God honored it. Did God say that it was wrong when Mary was betrothed to Joseph... Before he went in unto her?? He was going to put her away before he even went in unto her but didn't. A lot of stuff in the Bible surrounds a Jewish marriage. (Ceremony). If something is law in your country, you are to obey that law. Romans 13. Marriage is serious unto God because it's a picture of Christ and the church. Don't believe everything you hear.

Peter Ruckman was disqualified from ministry. He was divorced multiple times and even admits to physically abusing his first wife. This is not a man who meets the biblical qualifications of a Pastor. It's amazing to me that people don't care about the morality of their Pastor and are fine with a divorced man Pastoring them. I'm a King James Bible-believer, but NOT a Ruckmanite.

To the issue. Does a man that’s commits adultery become disqualified. Jesus said Matthew 5:28 KJV But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. The statement one wife was to disqualify anyone with multiple wives. Let me ask you a question. Wouldn’t God have taken him out of the pastorship if he didn’t want him there.

John 4:16-18 16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither. 17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: 18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly. This verse establishes the fact that when you are divorced, you are loosed from that person and they are no longer your wife / husband.

Everything he said may have been completely true and honest but the church pulpit isnt the place for this topic of discussion. Ive learned many things from Bro Ruckman and am quite sure hes presently enjoying his heavenly reward at this very moment but having Said that; theres always 2 sides to every story, and hearing people chuckle at something said is very immature and condescending to the cross.

The problem with this testimony is it is one-sided. See Proverbs 18:13.

Exactly. Proverbs 18:17 is also a good verse for this. "He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him."

@@dls2685Sometimes you may never hear the other side of the story. But there are ways of knowing if one side is being truthful. A good hallmark to find is how much accountability does the person assume for any failings in their marriage.

About 20 years ago Dr Ruckman gave this testimony at his church....it was an hour long ...his second wife was in attendance....he stated that if he said anything that was untrue she was welcome to speak up ....he gave his testimony..... irregardless of what we think God certainly used him....
