I like Jaishankar because he is the first Indian leader in the world arena giving bold & fitting reply to those westerners sarcastic questions and mocking India. There was tremendous pressure on India after Ukraine war, West and US wanted to take their anger on India wherever it is possible, but well experienced, diplomatic, smart knowledged Jaishankar who got natural "presence of mind" gave stunning reply and shut their mouths and destroyed West & US's superiority complex in the world forum! Also I like him they way he handled those arrogant unfair interviewers and questioners calmly with very right answers - no one so far argued with him after any of his reply. He became symbol of "Indian Pride" - he is very very popular in India and all over the world. He paved the way of boldness for Global South - particularly Africans' leaders to withstand against West & US hypocrisy and other injustice practiced by US & West! Also I like his genuine smile so even his enemy like him and admired him!

interesting - I actually studied history and in my final year we had world history - it felt more like politics and this is where I thought this might be interest to study further but then I realised how bad politics was and I was like - I just want to have a happy life and focused more on what is and my other interests. S. JaiShankar I really admire him - I love the way he carries himself and speaks and I think his voice cannot be ignored. And in India there are so many good channels that grow around geo politics world affairs by Prashant Dhawan one of my fav also he knows how to write and read Russian language and yes because of our low cost internet people can explore more and many things that evolve around this so yea geo politics grows in India way too hard 😅♥️ also you can say India is the land of Krishna, Hanuman the biggest politicians then came acharya chanakya who built maurya Empire from dot(.) So India has a rich and cultural history of geo politics foreign affairs so if you go deeper you can link everything and if you want to dive into Indian history then let me tell me it's way too deep then you have ever imagined 👍....... Today we are in the position to stand in america and tell Americans to worry about black lives that matter as well and stop race hate in the west instead of telling us what we need to do. The absurd idea the problems of the west are global problems is no longer acceptable. Concerns and interests have to be mutual and west cannot today tell us that interest of West are paramount which abject hypocracy. We shall cater to indian interest and not necessarily interest of the west. Europe is itself buying oil energy fro Russia but feels free to lecture us on Russian purchase and we called it out. It's about time we start dealing on equal terms. This is the reason why average indians are much more aware about geopolitics than an average blocke in the west.

Well don't know about others i certainly compare India with other countries not militarily but like we are way behind In happiness, good hospitals and schools run by Governments, Human development index, cleanliness etc etc. EU and Baltic, are they part of EU??? These countries are the leaders and this is where i want my country to go. So why we think he is best and inspire us, no other Indian FM was bold enough to tell other countries our point of view so openly. And what he tell is exactly what we think. he explain we don't hate other countries sometimes we have to take some actions for our national interest which others may not like, Because we learned from US work for your national interest doesn't mean you are enemy of west or this country or friend of this-that country. like someone from US said "no permanent friends, no permanent enemies"

But then get to see, hear gun mass shootings, shootings at mall, medical costs, no public transport. US is a great country would love to visit. Yes we all are safe and live good life in our own countries but also that should not make us stop visiting other countries. What I have seen on YT about Slovakia is just great so much history, beautiful landscape, so clean, developed. All these countries are just beautiful and that different calmness I can’t you know sense from other countries . I just can’t explain why that area (your region) feel so good like why it calms mind. Well I just have this thing with places when I see pics and videos about countries(walking tours on YT) Some I sense and feel like home like just go and visit there or spend holidays there, learn their history. It just hit different.

COVID didn't impact India as much as Europe. most citizens are pro-vaccine and Indian scientists developed their own vaccines which are arguably better than Pfizer and moderna. pace of vaccination was also one the highest in the world. almost one Australia vaccinated everyday. although medical infrastructure came under serious stress with hospitals full and oxygen cylinders in short supply. overall India managed it better than most countries IMO.

Dr. S Jaishankar is an "Indian Kohinoor", which British can't steal from us 😀. Joke apart, but we are actually proud of him. When he represents 'i' as india to the rest of the world, we feel like we are also have a credibility to compete with the rest of the world. Not to dominate the world but to educated the world that we are very diversed, democratic and peace loving country, i am saying to you because over 5000 years of our history we never do any invasion in any other countries, although our land were brutally crushed by many invaders, after all that happen we as a country always helped to other countries where they needed, for example: pandemic like COVID, earthquake in turkey, Helping hand for African countries which is being treated as outsider from the rest of the world, and may other thing the list is very long, that's the thought we have to show to the world when we talking about "educated the world". Sorry to say many EU countries tarnish India image, they portray india like a 🗑️ bag, so that's the image of india we have to change, so the 🌎 have to know that the image of india which many EU countries portrait is not correct, India is much more different then that. Well india is a country of 1.4 billion people so definitely covid and ukrain war ( specially covid ) have effected many peoply economically and specially personally ( losing loved ones ) but personally talking about myself or the agriculture sector ( my business is in agriculture sector) their was a speed breaker for the intial part of the covid other wise it hasn’t affected that much, at least in my sector economically. Personel loss is different story ( including mine 😢)

​@@zuzanareacts firstly it is happening very slowly and in subtle form....For ex in the last one year PM met almost all major powers in the west, the recent US state dinner, The quad meet plus india reduced SCO to a virtual meet ( We have presidency of that this year)....we are reluctant to condem Russia and public announce that we are moving away (ambiguity is within the style of Indian establishment) however India now is a major ally of everyone who sees Russia as a threat plus Russia-Sino closeness is making the defence analyst a little nervous about can we count on Russia in case of Indo-Sino conflict (our Airforce's backbone is dependent on Russian supplies)....plus Defence is the key characteristic of our partnerships with Russia (oil is a recent thing) and with Ind diversifying our defence imports ( gone from 65 russian to down 42 percent) unless Russia finds something more to offer to india...this relationship is only gonna go weak (ofcourse ind will never acknowledge that and never condemn Russia however it also won't count Russia as a dependable partner if Russ-Sino continues to grow)

@@vinod_kumar_28 I have to respectfully disagree. I hold a degree in history. Slovaks belong to Slavic group of nations, so do Russians. Ukrainians and Russians have different history than ours. I think what you are likely getting at is the fact that the West did divide Slavic nations. In fact, if you would add up numbers of all Slavic nations - and if they were united it would be I think (don't hold me to that - but did this exercise a couple of years ago) the 5th or so largest nation in the world. However, the West made sure it will never happen and due to a very complex history - such a reunion cannot ever happen. I read some quotes from the western politicians (not current ones but around Churchill era) which seemed like it was an aim, too.

@@zuzanareacts I think what was meant was Slavic people not Russian. Russia though has a larger share of the Slavic population hence many in India think only of Russians as Slavic. Slavic people never had a history of colonization and they are proud of their civilization and roots. Indians are connected to Slavic people spiritually too, I think they share similar values, Slavic people like Indians never had slavery or treated human beings like commodities. We are also connected through the ancient Sanskrit language, an influence seen in our words and languages- a link that proves a common connection.

Sorry if i missed your question as i didn't note it down while you were asking. 😂😂 1) Yes we have started to watch and have more knowledge about geo-politics recently. The main reason as Jai said, it's because of mobile and youtube. I never watched news, but following him or other podcasts, we do get a lot of whats happening in geo-politics and how complicated it is for India to actually not take sides, but still do it in other ways. Also, earlier generally Indian ministers will not speak back to higher powers like China and America. But recently with jai it has changed, which many youngsters like. We hate the hypocracy that Americans and europeans have. Here i know that Europe is not monolithic in thoughts or political views. But no country will go against the mutual consensus of the big countries in Europe. So for example, what America has done in Iran, Afghanistan, vietnam, and other countries, Russia cannot even do half the damage. Many top officials of America themselves have agreed or publically said that attack on Iran was not about nuclear war heads or weapons. But no European country has ever condemned America for doing the same. Even with cold wars, America has destroyed many countries by fueling wars in other countries. Again, the hypocrisy is out of the roof. Russia is having a war close to its borders. America does wars in other countries so there is no affect in their own. I can go on. If you want just watch Arnabs humiliating american spokeperson. To be honest, i don't like him much. Won't recommend other videos, but he did pitch in some good points. I know some of them are not straight forward. U have been typing for long, sorry will answer rest of ypur questions some other time..lols
