Thank you for taking the time to take Ren seriously enough to listen to what he has to say. He truly is speaking for thousands of individuals who don't have a platform. Chronic pain drains all joy from life leaving us wishing only for an end to the suffering.

Ren has communicated that songs are not entertainment. They can be entertaining but he puts them out not only to support himself but to reach those living in the dark and/or living with difficult chronic health conditions, problems, and challenges.

Ren is very intelligent and eventually researched his own path to a Doctor who diagnosed Lyme disease after 7 years without diagnoses He later got offered the stem cell transplant Around this time he had a some very strong allergic reactions to foods certain medicine etc and nearly died due to anaphylaxic Shock a couple of times He was able to get back to making music working out etc for a few years after stem cell treatment He started to get ill again loose weight only a handful of foods were safe He found his doctor in Calgary and they diagnosed the brain and nerve damage MCAS and POTS and made treatments around Ren including surgery to heal build him up and treat the bacterial issues Because Ren's music blew up just after moving to Calgary his treatments ended up taking 18 months He finished end of June He gives very detailed insight into all this and more in Chapters which are linked to this song release

With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick… Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. There’s a beautiful acoustic version too. The world needs Ren 🐰🕳️

As you continue on this Ren journey you’ll find that Ren has incredible insight into the systems in which we live. Like you said it is going to take an incredible amount of out of the box thinking from all of us to make the changes that benefit humanity. We must not continue doing the things that the systems dictate us to do,if we do it might end badly and may anyway. REN’s music gives me hope that if enough people hear his messages change for humanity is possible. Great reaction please keep it up.

Ren has a video of them using a tube and sucking out his fat (he had so little fat, they had to do some serious digging). They processed his own stem cells and fed them back into his body via IV. The process including trying to get some nourishment in his body was a 6-week procedure.

@@TheAtmaMD even maybe you would have ideas on how or if any of these contributed to all the brain damage he still receives treatment for. He recently left Canada after over a year of getting IV infusions and lots of medication. He does still need to return for more. Also how in the world did they not test for Lyme disease or any of the "specialists" cross their minds in 8 years while it was running rampid in his system. Crazy. And to tell him that he's making this up in his head.

So true about the time doctors spend with their patients. I blame the whole insurance thing. I went from 13 to 33 with doctors misdiagnosing me. Until one day I saw a psychiatrist for a few months(not a psychologist which is crazy). He actually took the time and really listened and I finally got a correct diagnosis. He’s my hero. The way medical care is now, I feel I’d have better care by Googling my problems. Like I said, I don’t necessarily blame the doctors.

Loved your reaction! I imagine becoming a great Doctor is really no different than becoming a great plumber or electrician. It's alot more to memorize in the education but in the end it comes down to the experiences you've lived and how easily you can adapt to the unknowns. I loved how you said we are practicing medicine and keeping that mentality will keep you from becoming egotistical and closed minded. The trades have really hurt themselves by trying to compartmentalize everything into specialized fields making peoples training hyper focused on one specific topic often at the expense of understanding how everything works together. These "jack of all trades" types of contractors especially the ones with a real sense of pride in their work are the most valuable type of person to any field.

I love and agree with all of your comments. It's individual treatment not a one size fits all kind of thing. I have MS and all my Dr wants, is to pump me full of Disease modifying drugs. While I see that they may be great and work for some, they're not for me. For many reasons. The trouble is, this Dr is all about the meds and nothing about the human. Ren is a genius who has also been through the mill and come out the other side with the strongest mind and ability to share with others who "get" him. Great reaction, great song! Thank you!

I damaged my right arm 15 years ago getting tennis elbow and then the muscles and tendons snapped off while squeezing out a cloth and they were lying on the nerve of my forearm. It took 2 years, 4 surgeries, chronic pain until a doctor found the nerve damage. He reattached the muscles and tendons but my forearm is numb and I still have severe chronic pain. My whole life changed for the worse. I got depression from being in pain all the time. I then had a PT who caused me to have a neck fusion. Since then I’ve had more than 6 major surgeries and each time I get chronic pain. I now have 3 herniated disc’s and problems with my SI joint. Now there’s other problems that have decided to have chronic pain too 😢. I’m getting care and medication from my pain management doctor. Living with constant pain is hard. Ren has made me feel happier since I heard him 18 months ago. He has given me some Hope. Thank you for your interesting reaction.

Practice has disappeared because they are constrained by insurance companies and the data collection systems put in place called "progress". My last PCP, who I saw for 2 years spent the entire visit typing on a laptop and reading me my test results. My last visit, he happened to come up behind me as I was leaving and in a shocked voice asked me how long I had been limping and walking half bent over. He never noticed... turned out I have osteo arthritis in both hips and my spine and 5 stress fractures in my lumbar spine. This after 2 years of telling him every visit that I was in constant pain. He did want to put me on anti depressants, but I refused those.

After many years of dealing with drs for many conditions, including EDS, POTS, and Chiari, I have not seen one in a year since mine retired. I've had medical induced ptsd and can't stand being talked down to. I'm fairly intelligent and have researched my body to understand it for 25 years and refuse to be told not to. I'm a strong believer that my body is the machine, my brain is the computer, and it will figure itself out if you allow it to. Dr's have told me I have issues because I won't take the meds. Sorry, my body built this thing. I'm sure it knows how to run it. I need a mechanic, not someone who wants to reinvent the damn car. Anyways. Great reaction. Sorry it hit a nerve.

If it were only that easy to get second opinions. In Ontario Canada, anyway, finding a family Doctor is very difficult and people that have one are lucky…many many people don’t. If you get sick and you doctor cannot see you for a month, your option is Emergency department at the hospital…even though it is not an ER warranted condition. If you go to a clinic your family Dr can deroster you as a patient. Then what do you do. It is very hard to stand up for yourself…and when you don’t, a note is put on the part of your file you don’t get to see and you are labelled difficult/trouble maker. Throw in mental health such as depression and your care falls off exponentially.
