The best talk I have heard on the defending and proclaiming our faith. I have always wondered why us Catholics didnt proclaim Christianity door to door and in the streets like the Jehovas Witnesses or Proclaimed faith like Evangelicals in Workplaces. I see people sending kids to our Catholic School for good good grades but little else, some send their kids for Baptism and some confirmation but lazy parents spend Sundays away from Mass. If only us Catholics took the Word of God to the Streets and the Homes of the general Public. God Bless Dr Scott Hahn Amen

I too was baptized in the Catholic faith and at times, I had doubt about my faith but I managed to overcome my doubts and remained faithful in good times and bad times. I think Scott is a Saint. I wanted to meet him when he was young. But he was busy conning a parent. It was in the mid 1980s in a small long family conference in long Beach. He went on to the narrow path and I went off to become a prodigal son.

Praise be to God!! "Who am I that the Ark of the Lord should comes to me?" 2 Samuel verse 6 where David found the lost Ark of the Covenant and leaped with joy and took it back to Jerusalem! Psalm 132 then Revelation Chapter 11:19 where John sees the Ark of the Covenant in the temple of God and the woman clothed with the Sun the moon under her feet and the ancient serpent attacking but the devil is defeated as written in Genesis by the new Eve the Ark of the New Covenant the Queen Mother! Finally to end in the gospel Luke 1!

Jesus always speaks in parables, because we are all different and unique, and we see things from different perspectives, we have to find our Savior Jesus through our inner strength when we are ready to accept him and surrender all to his name. God timing is perfect and everything should go according to his will, as he said to John the Baptist in Mathew 3:14, 15 (John tried to dissuade him with the words “It is I who need baptism from you, and yet you come to me!” but Jesus replied “Leave it like this for the time being ; it is fitting that we should, in this way, do all that uprightness demands. “ then John gave in to him. I think there are two things I would like to point: 1- "Who am I so the mother of my Lord" it's in Luke 1, 43 and not Luke 1,35. 2- Jesus was not created without sin as Mary was, he was just ENCARNATED as we claim in the Creed (without sin); because he is God, so he has always existed, he wasn't created...

You're doing a great job in defending the faith. I am myself a convert, and your books/talks helped me very much. But I wonder why do you keep being silent about the greatest challenge our faith has ever met? The talk for these days is about the new 'amazonian face' Catholicism is about to get and all the heresies that come with it. There will be no more converts to such a syncretistic religion, as you know that Evangelicals can easily see how grave this is. Why don't you help Catholics wake up? Keeping silent about this, while talking about other great Catholic doctrines won't help. Please defend the faith on this grave issue, don't stay silent.

In james chapter 1:22. "Do not fool yourselves by just listening to his words. Instead put into practice". Romans çhapter 2:13. "For it is not by hearing the Law that men are put right with God, but by doing what the law commands.". Satan's followers are good in hearing the word of God but they never practice faith by obeying the commands of God, they never live according to the gospel message. They are misguided by satan and he teaches them that since you have been already saved and justified by God permanently, there is no need of practicing faith, so just be hearers of the word of God and laws. When Jesus was led into desert to be tempted by Devil, the Devil quoted from the scriptures to Jesus. Similarly the Devils desciples living in this century, always quote a particular word from the Bible to attack the catholics.

Any chance that we might ask ourselves self some questions like: 1-what is the features of God? Characteristics? 2- what is the features of men?characteristics? 3-what is the features of animals? Characteristics? 4- is the features of God like or similar to the features of men?animals? And the other way around? 5- How can God die? And if not did Jesus pretend to be? And how God can be created in the first place? Not seeking a debate rather to be able to raise fundamental questions which represents our beliefs.
