Dr. Tharoor from one fellow historian to another we are kindred spirits. I have read most of your books and follow you on KZbin. I thoroughly enjoyed your interview, but was disappointed that when referring to global tensions and conflict neither you nor Carl Bilt referenced the ongoing conflict in the Mid- East; Israel, Palestine and now Iran. It bothers me that China, America, EU, India and in a certain context Africa gets more air time. I teach Global History at a private high school in MN and we grapple with the dominant narrative and how the UN in my opinion has failed to restore balance and stability on the global stage for precisely this reason. Thank you for bringing up the topic of a human centered world which has found a voice at the local levels through grassroot organizing and non State players. Thank you again for all that you are doing both nationally and globally.
