Really, really bad review. You talk endlessly about totally irrelevant nonsense for a third of the video. Really bad impression for new viewers wanting to see a review of the game. Asking for subs before you've shown anything worth subbing to? 😂😂😂

I wish I could give this more than one 👎- I want to know what the game is like and you're still giving general info about the world almost 8:00 in to this, before you FINALLY get started on what the game is like. 👎 👎

@@Dr.norimaki a japanese manga made by Akira Toriyama(Dragon Ball creator) it's focused on the titular doctor making a robot, but he ended up making Arale and she gets him in lots of trouble like a real child(lol). Recommend reading it, it's short but funny

Great video, will definetely check Slump out! Quick suggestion btw, in your video reviews you use a lot of footage from games that look hella of interesting. I know is a pain in the ass, but can you maybe add their titles on a corner? Would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback Alex, appreciate it! I think we will start to put the time-stamps with titles of games in the video description for people who want to explore those titles a bit more for themselves moving forward.

I have this game! I picked it up probably 20 years ago at this point. I always enjoyed laughing at the poop. I'm really happy you reviewed it and to find out it has been fan translated! Now I'm curious if there has been an ALITA fan translation yet! Also. R.I.P. Akira you were a big part of my life since I was in middle school. I still remember watching the international channel to watch DBZ raw because at that time they never finished the series past Namek Saga.. Good times.

I've seen screen shots of in-game stuff where she's wearing different outfits. The option to do so is in her room by going up to the coat hanger, but it never worked for me. The additional costumes was something that I couldn't figure out unfortunately.

I see zero evidence of cel shading in this game. All the shading is baked into the textures. The PS1 can’t even do shaders.
@TheSelectGaming9 ай бұрын
I feel like games like Dr. Slump and Mega Man Legends were very early examples of early cel shaded games. Super bright saturated colors that had clean polygons. Either way, they did a great job of capturing that bright anime energy to the game.
@JKSmith-qs2ii9 ай бұрын
@@TheSelectGaming Thats not what cel shading is however but yeah they are saturated and clean.

Ridge Racer Type 4 has gouraud shading back in 1999 actually. The PS1 can do shading, it’s just that not many games do it.
@JKSmith-qs2ii9 ай бұрын
@@AidGum I just watched some clips of ridge racer and you’re right! I actually never saw any kind of pixel shaders on the PS1, they must have done it in software that’s really cool.
