It does make a difference! The spray often ends up on the septum when not angled correctly, causing irritation and not helping, whereas when done correctly, it gets into the sinuses where it can work it’s magic.

Try to only gently sniff it up, so not too much goes to the back of your throat. It isn’t dangerous when it does though, so not to worry.

Sounds like it’s going down your throat instead. Use my technique instead!

Don't breath in while spraying, it opens ur airways and that is why it's going into your throat. Breath in after it is sprayed to to keep it from dripping out. The main thing is to spray it on the right angle.

@DrSophieGP I can understand your thinking, but when you breath in after it is sprayed it will still allow the medication to get into the cavities. When you spray while breathing it is mist, so it is very easy to travel in that form to your throat. Either way both works and adjustments should be made to accommodate the individuals throat.
