Love the kid! Got a similar distraction and juggling it all. Done enough damage to myself with fasted vegetarian moderate long regular exercise so healing with Dr. Sims now!

Good stuff. Very helpful, especially regarding fueling and menopause. I’ve read Dr. Sims’ books and changed my post-workout fueling because of them. It has made big difference.

Great book but didn’t read all of it? Yeesh. It’s so wild how in every interview Dr. Sims has with a man they automatically have to either generalize Dr. Sims’s information or pointedly include themselves and men specifically in the conversation. The conversation can never just be about women specifically. This interview is a great example that STILL have so far to go. Thanks for your important work Dr. Sims.

This is high quality content. So much interesting information to digest. One thing I learned was to make sure I have enough calories (from carbs) before a workout to make sure I can perform well and the stress hormones don't spike, and after (from protein) to recover. Thank you Chris! Keep it up!

Wanting to feel strong in my body again. I truly believe that, for me the best approach is calisthenics and using my rebounder. I just turned 54, had a complete hysterectomy atvage 27. Didn't use hrt until about 3 years ago. I had to ditched hrt last year because I didn't feel any benefits.

Love this episode! Just wow this was an amazing and interesting topic for women health and performance! Lot of content now but probably with lack of evidence, this is just mind blowing and I think all nutritionist or fitness coaches should consider how hormones and women body physiology work to make life and fat loss easier ✨

How does hormone replacement therapy fit in with the idea that having estrogen can help build muscle? should older women over 65 or over 70 take estring to help build muscle?

It is annoying when regular coaches try to bring us back to be just like men even when they are interviewing an expert 😢
