projectpuffin.audubon.org/ Dr Stephen Kress has been helping to educate the public about the Atlantic Puffin for over 40 years. His tireless work has done what many people at the beginning thought was not possible and that was to bring the Atlantic Puffin back to the coast of Maine to Eastern Egg Rock.
This video is the second in a three part series from my documentary A Wing and a Care that I help produce with my friend Jim Grady several years ago. Along the way we met many wonderful people all of who were gracious to allow us to help tell the story of three incredible men that have been working to help protect the birds they care so much about. Well done. SUch patience to finally see a puffin return. I also have read that bird restoration projects on other continents have used his technique of bringing chicks to the old area . This is all in the book.
