Its amazing how you can just draw in ink without making any mistakes. Im such a fan of your work, and Monster has become one of my favorite mangas of all time.

The reason they're able to finish Their Manga(s) in just 5 years or so. Their ability to draw is out of this world. Japanese Classic Manga Artists were something else.

Thank you Mr. Urasawa. I've read "Monster" when i was 15 and it shocked me for his brilliant storytelling and themes. Now i'm studing surgery at university and your opera was one of the things that made me keep up with my whole life thank you

Your works "Monster" and "20th century boys" are among my top 5 mangas of all time. You, sir, are one of the greatest artists of all time! You are one of few mangaka who knows an incredible variety of facial features I've never seen in other mangaka's works.

スクリーントーンはかなり薄いのに下の紙を切らないように微妙な力加減で正確に切ってくのが凄いね。 しかも少しずつ削っていって雲を描くのだから、まさにプロの仕事ですよ。 良い勉強になりました、ありがとうございます。

もはやトーンの貼り方ってロストテクノロジーになりつつあるのでは 今トーン使ってアナログで漫画描いてる先生方が全員亡くなったら、もう誰も使える人がいなくなるのでは? そう考えると、こうして映像で残してくれるのはありがたい

スクリーントーン懐かしいです。高校時代に友達と合作で同人誌作ったことを思い出します。 成人してからすっかりデジタルですが、今いち使いこなせてないしアナログに戻っても良いような気がしました。スクリーントーンが消しゴムでボカせるのは目から鱗でした!ありがとうございます!

私は半年前に漫画を描き始めたのですが、デジタル作画は自分には向いていないと思い始め、最近トーンや原稿用紙などを買って練習しているところでした。そんな時に浦沢先生のテクニックが見れるなんて嬉しいです!とても勉強になります!ありがとうございます!

画もデジタル化が進んでいるので…手作業出来ない作家もいるんだろうなぁ… 表紙のカラーイラストもデジタルでしか着色してない作家も多いもんなぁ… でも手で着けた色は深みが違う…北条司さんや峰倉かずやさんのカラーイラストなんかは本当に素晴らしい

I actually learned a lot from this, I'm not an artist myself but I do love to do it for for as well seeing art from different artist and enjoy them. This really showed me how artist applied screen tone and the different ways you can do on it. It's really interesting and I really enjoyed the process!! 以前、漫画のコミックス化の仕事をしてましたが、トレーシングペーパーの無い原稿のスクリーントーンに原稿袋を留めているテープが貼り付いてえらい目にあったことがありますね。🤣

One thing I enjoy about Urasawa-sensei on both this channel and on manben, is that he gives off the vibe of “cool teacher that wants to teach you but also wants you to have fun” feels like the info sticks way more because Urasawa-sensei sounds like he’s also having fun.

髪塗るときの順番。 昔は、新人アシさんがベタ塗りするときのはみ出しとかネタにした裏話マンガもあった記憶。 私も塗り絵は、まず線の間際、端から塗りつぶす。オセロで角狙いみたいな着眼。 髪のボサボサ感出すとこや、天使のワの光の出し方のランダム感が浦沢さんっぽい。 スクリーントーンってまだ売ってるんだね。 子どもの頃の私のあこがれの存在だった。 背景書くのに点々を書いてたの思い出す。 絵の具を霧スプレーしたり網つかったり切り絵でメリハリつけたり、イロイロなやり方あったよね。 オルセーに点描画ルームみたいなものがあったくらいジャンルある点描。 単調で正確な繰り返し作業省略できるって贅沢だけど、ランダム感の味わいも重要。 帯に短し襷に長し的に切り間違えると勿体ない。相当、切り貼り繰り返したのかな?アシさんに丸投げじゃなくて自分でやって。 独立したアシさんって画風似るんだよね。 新谷かおるさん夫妻みたいなパターンもあるけど。 なぜ似てる?とおもてたら夫妻だったと後で知った。 判決全文とか新法とか事件とか、記事にするときにどこに着目して切り貼りして読者を誘引するか、最近、どのメディアもセンモンカも私を絶望させる。 全国民の代表からなる国権の最高機関立法府の国会の情報開示は、国民に分かりにくくしてリケンのワを広げて票田アピールテクのための切り貼りテクスゴいかも。 丸投げテクも。丸投げさせるテクも。

I am grateful for the English subtitles, and glad to see classic techniques are still used by some experts. While it is certainly harder to draw by hand, and there is no undo button if you mess up, I really appreciate the human touch of something hand-drawn

I am at the point in my life where everytime Urasawa sensei sells something, I am very much willing to sell feet pics or start an OnlyFans just to buy his works. Especially with that special edition interview book, I'm convinced I'm about to sell my kidneys.
