I'm currently in chapter 77 of monster, when I clicked this video I was not expecting to see the mangaka artist himself neither was I expecting him to teach on his process of drawing. I am trying to make a manga myself, this video has been incredibly useful to my journey and your manga has really inspired me as well. I am honored to learn something from a brilliant mangaka artist like yourself. Thank you.

I’ve been writing a novel that I want to illustrate myself into a manga (I’m an artist with many years of practise so i felt like I could) but panelling and eye catching design is a lot harder than I participated. A cover art, sure easy. But a page? I need practise 😅 so I’m trying to make storyboards for a simple manga I’ve titled “BUZZSAW BAZOOKA” that’s inspired by devil may cry. Any advice? Thanks. If I don’t see it maybe someone else will and it’ll help them

The reason they're able to finish Their Manga(s) in just 5 years or so. Their ability to draw is out of this world. Japanese Classic Manga Artists were something else.
dude doesn't even need a pencil for sketching. He just pulls out an ink-pen and draws perfectly. Absolute madlad

Your works "Monster" and "20th century boys" are among my top 5 mangas of all time. You, sir, are one of the greatest artists of all time! You are one of few mangaka who knows an incredible variety of facial features I've never seen in other mangaka's works.
"Monster" is one of my favourite stories! I am glad that it is digitized because, as you mentioned, the price will be affordable for a greater number of people. I really like my printed kanzen edition. It is a pity that Mexican publishers have not published "The Nameless Monster" and "Another Monster" Teach how to apply screen tone, it feels like a magician revealing his tricks. Simply fascinating. Thank you Urasawa! :D

Mr. Urasawa, of course this is useful! There is always someone out there that is seeking knowledge like this. This type of art how-to is very helpful. Manga techniques like this are not often talked about if not seen or written out often either. It's very much appreciated. Thank you.
