That was cool really hoping Raven will be the next in line among some others like Madusa. She was around from back in the day even sang in Japan for her thing ;). Always great to get into that kinda history. I've seen documentaries about like every NWA spot or many others even if I can't fully grasp it all. Though now I understand a lot more from when I was growing up being kinda confused. I'd think WCW was NWA from Jim Crockett Promotions being on TBS. Mostly I'd see that or WCCW or then Sports Channel had Eastern Championship Wrestling as NWA among others. Which when went Extreme ended up on MSG. Glow is better than anything going today :). So least we have memories or footage when we can obtain it from past greatness :).

Dr Tom sir if you see this I just wanted to say it was such a blast watching you wrestle in my hometown been a long time ago but Etowah TN in an old warehouse you wrestled my buddy Chris Sawyer in a hog slop match 🤣 oh my good grief that was so entertaining.. God bless you for takin that bump into that troff full of that God awful smellin slop for the fans.. there was one guy there in his section of the audience had a sign he held up called Dr Toms waiting room hahaha and Chris Sawyers fans had the possum pit..i wish i could turn back time and watch you wrestle all the matches you wrestled in my hometown..you came out to the ring with little Texas playin God blessed Texas..good memories

Great interview. Good points were brought out about the diversity of characters in wrestling. Too many now belly-ache about differences added to the roster; not knowing that there’s always been strange or humorous characters included. Mr. Corgan; you’re doing a fantastic job with the N.W.A.!

I'd like to see someone talk about Bob Geigle as NWA President. Geigle would get so much heat from the fans. For instance Circa 1983, Dusty Rhodes had just defeated Ric Flair for the NWA World title in Florida. However, it wasn't Dusty who pinned Flair it was masked "Midnight Rider" who Flair claimed was Dusty Rhodes who was supposed to be suspended for a year. That is why he was wrestling in Mid-South for Bill Watts at the time as Dusty, but he was still Midnight Rider in Florida. NWA President Bob Geigle confronts The Rider and orders him to unmask or he will overturn the referee's decision and the title will be given back to Flair. Needless to say the title was headed back to Flair. The fans were furious with Geigle!
