So there are truths on both sides. So I think something to be considered is to look for a healed, respectful, and considerate spouse. Then, each gender needs to focus on turning around their base and youth for the better, thus producing better outcomes. Also, it was stated to create more economic bridges amongst ourselves and the diaspora. If we can create jobs, we won't have to be forced to work where we don't enjoy. We just need to work on the respect portion. Where there are opportunities or ideas, there is revenue. Lastly, we can like nice things, but we give stacks away for vague status symbols that don't age well as assets, i.e., chains, shoes, and name brand clothing. We should be trying to produce our own. This dialog was dope none the less.

@tman229
@tman229 Жыл бұрын
@@ericwatkins4581 That's not true. Look at all the successful people that we know about that does right by them and their family but sell the rest of the community out. We have tons of black successful Republicans (not conversative leaning so we don't confuse the two) who work to sell lies about how American treats black systematically. We have black successful democrats who suckers us into fighting for everyone but ourselves. Look at Jay Z who lead us to vote for people like Hillary Clinton or got us to fall back against the NFL. And this is all while being paid by these groups. And this happens to us on all levels and on all sides. Black people scattered all over the place over what they "believe" which is why we have no political power. This is what happens when you focus on too much as an individual and none as an community. As a community, less people gets left behind and ends up being a pookie and rayray to be a poison to the community. As an individualism, you care less about them and leave them to be a detriment to our kids and grandkid's future which is part of the american system.

Using data to validate your feelings is different than using the words of a race hustler like Dr. Umar. This man raised $5 million in donations to re-open a school in Virginia and then conveniently never opened it. He stole $5 million from his own people that donated. He is using the black community to further his pocket just like 99% of black activists. So to use his rhetoric to "justify your feelings" means that your feelings are weak and would crumble on their own. Just the truth.

Umar is a genius because he is a psychologist. He knows that 10 people can do the same thing, and if you asked them why, you would get ten different reasons. That's just for simple tasks. Choosing who you love is the most complicated thing you can do as a human being. He's gaslighting black America for fame. If he could predict why people behave the way they do simply based on observation, He would be a billionaire with a noble peace prize. Love who you want. Life is short. @karajames6216
@karajames6216 Жыл бұрын
@@troydilworth8789 Beloved, it's crucial to understand the welfare system and child support within the larger context of the system that has been created. These systems you mentioned trace back to slavery, Jim Crow laws, and mass incarceration, all aimed at dismantling the power of black families and communities. To suggest that this is solely about individual choice overlooks the institutionalized nature of this system and how it has been ingrained in our Americanized culture. I understand where you're coming from, and I respect your perspective that individual choice does play a part. That being said, it's worth noting the contradiction in the arguments made by the person in question. They mention "pookie and ray ray" but lack the consciousness of attracting "BoQuisha and sha sha." It's important for both men and women to reflect on their own reasons for choosing these mates and address any underlying biases or beliefs that may be influencing their choices. As Umar was saying, we need to zoom out and focus on the bigger picture - the system that forces both men and women into certain choices. It's like the Adam and Eve story, where they turned against each other instead of addressing the real issue. This sneaky snake of a system destroys our sense of self and blocks our ability to truly see and understand each other. And let's not forget, it strips us of our power. So, while individual choices do matter, we can't overlook the destructive force of this system that have forced us into choices out of survival and out of response to our emotional, historical, and collective trauma. We have to dismantle these Jim Crow laws that turn us against each other and come together!

I mostly look at dr. Umar Johnson as the Broken Clock. He's right about twice a day. There are plenty of things that I can say that I don't agree with but I definitely agree with him on the point that he was making about systemic issues that have destroyed black boys and black men are not taking accountability for them. On top of that, black men want to blame black women for ending up with black men who are not healed when black men have not taken an overall role in making sure that Pookie and Ray-Ray do not exist in the first place. I will not discount white supremacy because it played a huge role in the decimation of our communities, but I have a huge problem with any black man who wants to continually blame black women for the issues that we face as a community and they not take accountability. Like dr. Umar Johnson said, if two-thirds of women are raising children by themselves, how do you black man not see a larger problem? Why does it always have to end up with it's her choice? It's like if you sit down at a restaurant and they hand you a menu and the only thing they serve are hamburgers, the only thing you're going to eat is a hamburger. With that analogy, if the majority of black men that black women are presented with are not healed black men, how do you expect black women to be with a black man on a larger scale who is healed and whole and able to provide for family? I believe that black women need to do better but I damn sure will not allow white supremacist talking points from black men to continually black Gaslight black women in believing that every issue in her life is her fault. This is what the manosphere does all day long and it needs to stop.

I don’t agree with a lot that Dr umar says but I do agree with what he was saying about why women are that way they are. I don’t agree all is systemic though. Many black men left a poorer woman with his kids and went to another who was able to take care of him. He cares nothing about the kids or gave her money for nothing. She had to go welfare to get food. The one guy with the braids hates black women. I do not see it in the cards that he will select one do we might as well give him his walking papers. Because at the root of the community are individuals. You cant have a community of morally righteous people with that moral righteousness being ingrained at an individual level. And thats what they were tryna explain to umar. If you cant convince the individual, you definitely aint gonna convince the community. If you can convince the individual to take a stake in the community’s failure outside of himself, then you can spread that to the masses. Effectively they tried to make umar convince them why they should take accountability for the communitys failures that they played no part in at an individual level and umar failed miserably and just kept saying “do it for the community” That doesnt work

@@rachealmiller6757 So I think the podcaster understood that his confusion came from not knowing how it was his or our responsibility to make sure that there are no pookies and Rayrays. Simply being present in the community doesn't always equate to having the impact on someone's life to be a better man. I think the presence of a good male role model definitely helps. That's like saying that white men being present in their communities can stop all the rapes, thefts, burglaries etc... that's a disingenuous argument that once again places unrealistic standards on the black man that no other men have. Have Japanese men been able to stop boys from growing up and being in the Triads gang? Come on brothers...it was so hard watching this! I really hope you came away with a light bulb moment because I'm half way through and actually in shock. Foolish woman, do you believe youll teach a mass of savages to be orderly? You wont. Youll teach them individually and then theyll form a community of like minded people who respect order. Its the same with our community. Being family oriented starts with the individuals. Then the individuals form groups, then those groups form communities and those communities for a nation. Its weird how people still fall for umars rhetoric and dont ever ask “if his logic (which isnt new by the way) is so good, why hasnt it worked? It’s quite interesting that these men had an excuse for every mode of responsibility Umar put in their path. That highlights the core of the issue. I agree with you, but to a degree. We shouldn’t be looking to make excuses, pointing fingers at others and playing the victim. That’s facts. So did anyone recognize how towards the end of the podcast, what appears to be the owner or main speaker of the show almost completely refused to even ACKNOWLEDGE any accountability regarding the black man flaws and how it played into systemic racism. He persisted on holding BLACK women accountable on our “poor decisions” in dating men.. when majority of the men in our community are what he describe as “pookie and ray ray” (and we know what type of men he was trying to get at here). Regardless, despite Dr. Umar trying to get him to look at the overall picture, he was set on “revealing” this negative portrayal of black women, to which he described “is masculine with multiple kids”.. so all black women are masculine with multiple children?? Why would you even portray us in that way, but when someone say something regarding the negative characteristics of black men.. they quick to say “NOT ALL MEN” or “NOT ME, I worked hard to get where I’m at.” So… you think most BW do not work hard to become something and beat stereotypes.. while .. you know.. on top of balancing being the MAN AND WOMEN in a fatherless household? & Black men wonder why so many of our women embody the masculine role.. like do you even recognize how your own actions contribute to why some of our mothers and grandmothers had to be the men in our life as well? Judging a women for having multiple children, yet not criticizing the men who are impregnating her .. the ones who are not supporting her.. the ones who rather be in the street.. rather than building their community. I’m glad Dr. Umar put y’all in check. Why are you concerned about black women taking accountability, when the conversation is more so centered on how black men can collectively began on recognizing and acknowledging their role in the prevalent disruption of the black family institution.

This is the kind of talk we need in private in real life. Before too long we have broadcast what we are going to do. And the weakness within that is the same as telling your enemy exactly where you come fail. You need to learn to move in silence and secrecy in order elevate from the sorrow pitiful sad state and position that our people are in.

This individualistic mindset is something that plagues us and something we struggle with. Our mentality is under such hypnotic suggestion, that we cannot see the truth of our plight. This was a very edifying debate/conversation. More action needs to be taken rather than so much talking. Blessings 🙌🏽

The mindset and education between Dr Umar and these interviewers is immense. They have victim mindset. They need to educate themselves about responsibility to understand the scope of problem at discussion. The lack of self awareness is huge. Educate yourselves black men to solve your community problems. Keep the excellent work Dr. Umar.

Wait, what? UMAR had the victim mindset!!! Black men TODAY, are NOT responsible for the actions of what black men before us did! That's the problem! It's not different than asking whites today to atone for what their racist forefathers did! Women can't bash us, then say we "don't protect them." Behaving masculine is a CHOICE!

lol cuz she gets rights in 2024. lolololl women have become melennials by default cuz the system allows thhe removal of not only the father of the child but the husband of the wife. Bet u cant say what ya want or do what ya wan with your kids if they hit that system on you and they can easily. The way you said that, kids will be saying something in a similar fashion once both parents are removed and thhey are born into being controlled. They'll love it too. I say this especially cuz there no men going "Why is feminine" teach em dr. Umar. its not a flex to be a victim of the system to toss in someones face lolololol also men always wanna be tough and the bihh ninjas know who they are.... but most women left alone thing they tough and strong/manly... I dont see men becoming women as a systematic solution. we get angry when see a bih ninja but women get happy when they get out of their nature ...and if they can copy bih boy they loooooove it. then women praise themselves for contributing to that systematic decline. we got bihh boys and now we make it cool to be a undesirable whore (cuz u not gettin man points for being single and smashing constantly cuz if bih boy hits it we dont even want it)

Initially coming with 'Some' - 'Some Historical Facts'; yet, in the end, have nothing substantial to validate or make real their/your points of views. Applying to: Allah, Buddha, Jah, Jesus, Krishna, Yahweh And All The Rest (Umar Johnson...etc..): Even as an updated point of view: my take on it is that Blacks as a whole (especially as applying to both African and American Blacks [maybe one more so than the other and vice versa]) we fail in these five to six main areas: 1) The Idea Of A Non-proven One All Omnipotent God/Religions; 2) Not Having Overall Desire Or Values Toward True Ancient, Historical Knowledge & Science; 3) Negative Female Rulership By Non-Postnatal Trained ('Crooked Natured') Women; 4) Limited, Average Life Span; 5) Not Having Economic Productive Type Values (Needing Someone Else To Do What You Yourself Can Do While Also Not Maximizing On The Full Utilization Of Your Community's Or Continent's Natural Resources) & Finally, 6) The Allowed Destruction Of Family; all of this done within our limited average 80-years lifespan

@@rochelletaylor4558 As a response to your comment; thus, no I didn't intend - I had no intentions of ever saying anything about males also generally - naturally prone towards distorted or 'out of line' type behavior; what I meant was that female side (being that we are now considered a separate gender type species as opposed to having a one, unisexual gender) is more prone to having distorted or 'out of line' type behavior (especially as it applies to positively maintaining the overall family structure). As with us males, based on historical records and simply close observation, we males in general are prone to being overly arrogant and egotistical; inclusively, we males can be extremely arrogant and egotistical even when we (as my mother would put it) 'don't have a pot to pi** in'.
