Dr. എനിക്ക് ഭേദമാകില്ലേ? മറുപടി ഇത്രയും നാൾ ജീവിച്ചതുപോരേ. രോഗി വളരെ വിഷമത്തിലായി. രോഗം ക്രമേണ കൂടി. മരണമടഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ പറയമോ?

എനിക്ക് lake ഷോറിലെ ചികിത്സയോട് ഒട്ടും തൃപ്രീതി ഇല്ല. എന്റെ വൈഫ്‌ ovari കാൻസർ ആയിട്ടു രണ്ടുര വർഷം ചികിൽസിച്ചു അവസാനം ഒരു മാസം അവിടെ അഡ്മിറ്റായിരുന്നു ഒരു ദിവസം പോലും ഡോക്ടർ വാർഡിൽ വന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഡോക്ടർ നല്ല മനുഷ്യൻ ആണ്. അന്നും രോഗികളെ പേഴ്സണൽ ആയിട്ടു ഡോക്ടർക്കു അറിയില്ല. അവസാന നാളുകളിൽ ഒരു മാസം അഡ്മിറ്റ് ആയിരിന്നു. ഒടുവിൽ അവർ പറഞ്ഞത് എവിടെങ്കിലും പാലിറ്റീവ് കെയർ കൊണ്ടുപോകാനാണ് വെള്ളം പോലും കൊടുക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. 28 കീമോ ചെയ്തു. നമ്മളോട് ഇവർ വിശതമായിട്ടു ഒന്നും പറയില്ല. വേറെ ഒരു ഡോക്ടർ കൂടി ഉണ്ട് അനുപമ മാഡം. രോഗികളെ വാർഡിൽ പോയി കാണും.
