O Bless God's High name, I remember when she came to First Church of Deliverance in 1985 and she sang Just when I need Him most, It sent me running around the Sanctuary. She always blessed my soul with that wonderful soprano voice, and such control and delivery. all I can say is AMEN!

For those of us who were fortunate to be called her son and daughter from St.James were truly blessed. i remember trying to imitate her in 8th grade for Just when i need him most. But marcell you bout to make me cry. You got Mama Velma singing, Stephanie Cofield behind her and Shirley Thomas aka Miss T near Stephanie.Man it's crazy when you look at the old clips or videos and so many who aren't here anymore.
