'Quality improvement gets stuff done very quickly'... 'if it was my way I'd just get rid of audit'! Sorry Wasim, but I have to smile...a good rapid cycle audit is no different to a QI project involving lots of PDSA cycles! What you describe in your film as good QI is actually audit. 'We do audit very badly in the NHS'... a huge sweeping generalisation. Would be good to see your QI projects that has made a big difference. I hope they don't measure against standards... i.e. are audits?
