@Basement Bohab Yes, you are right, out of the whole Family / American Dad / Simpsons TV-mass-popular shows, Futurama was definitely more different, its not exactly comparable. BTW, on a non-related note: I also realy REALLY like " The Critic" - that 90s show, made by the same creator (I think? Or involved at least in some way with The Simpsons) - it has great subtle & smart, yet very funny humor, only 2 seasons, unfortunately, but it predicted soooo much of the whole Hollywood shitstorm & sequel disaster... it is soo relevant today in my opinion, based on what cinema has become, please check it out, if you haven't already, the full seasons are here on youtube as well - another great place I'd recommend is this one: www.wcostream.com/ Soo many great old (and new I think) cartoons, free to watch, has been holding for 5 years +, hope they dont close it any time soon. I love that all it took to turn him evil was a switch. I like to think Jonas added that on purpose, so he could still get him to do his dirty work and show him off to people without fear that his programming would interfere with his mission or his reputation.

The everyday, non-super-science-affiliated law enforcement agencies have arrangements and treaties with the Guild. Supervillains don't hurt cops (or non-OSI feds) and in exchange the cops stay out of Guild business and ordinarily leave the discipline of members to the Guild's own laws and law enforcers. Processing, holding, and running coke is a humdrum _regular_ crime. Non-supervillains do that sort of thing all the time, so it's fair game for any lawman who hears about it to make a bust. Robots, lasers, supercomputers and junk, _that's_ all clearly supervillain crap; best to leave it all alone and alert the Guild to Dr.Z's arrest. They can do their own investigation, determine their own punishments (if any) for any super-crimes, and call back if they find any heroin stuffed in a death ray's fuel rod compartment or whatever.

I just realized a super subtle detail! After the scene where that guy blasts two bouncers into a nightclub with a speaker jacket, Dr. Z is blushing, which is odd for that scenario, untill you realize that in some people, most commonly Asians, their bodies can't process alcohol properly, leading to even more health problems, but most notably their faces going super red. One of the many details that makes this show one of the best ever made!

The Information overload in this one clip is astounding. Dr. Z probably had the idea in the first place to go mess with Jonas Venture as wanting revenge on the Blue Morpho who told him that he sent him. Then it could be around this same time that Dr. Venture wasn’t home because he was on Gargantua 1 . All those helper bots were that turned against venture. Are those the same ones that got recalled because they were super “dangerous” around children? Also why did Dr Venture leave a good and evil switch in Venturions helmet?
