The establishment of a harmony and proportion between different things existing from the earth to the sky, their becoming favorable and subservient to a variety of aims and objects, and their remaining continuously and constantly favorable in perfect harmony for millions of million years cannot be the product of mere chance. Has it all happened without the all-embracing will and plan and wisdom of a Fashioner and Designer? And is it not a proof of the fact that the Creator and Lord of the earth, the sun, the water, the heat and coolness is One and only One?

Assalam-O-Alaikum Sir, im a student and im very confused regarding one question and i can't even study because of this thought,and that is ,if Allah has send us in this World to workship him ,and that, this life is nothing but a test ,then Sir ,is it okay to set wordly dreams like i want to be a doctor ,an engineer etc ,is it gunnah if u want to be doctor for ur own self and to serve humanity? This life is temporary then why do we study too much to become a doctor or an engineer,what's the purpose then? Can't we just workship Allah?is it gunnah to set wordly goals?

You are free to set worldly goals, many of the companions of our beloved prophet saw were businessmen and used to carry out various transactions Bt if worldly goals obstruct you from your ultimate goal, then its not worth it. Allah knows best

No it is not gunnah, you can do whatever you want but it must not go against the quran and it must not lose your faith in Allah. Dreaming to be a doctor is perfectly fine as it doesn't go against the quran plus you are saving lives which is a good thing
