My mother so loved this piece. I made certain that it was the last song played at her memorial service, and when it was played, I felt her smile. When I saw Dr. Zhivago, with her, I was 5 or 6. I nearly freaked when they nailed his mother's coffin shut. If memory serves, the camera cut to inside the coffin and it really unnerved me because, for some reason, I somehow conflated Zhivago's mother with my own.

Ova je muzika 'u stilu' za ovaj sadržaj filma i ljubavi koju čini besmrtnom. Ljudi i vrijeme i patnje i kako žena treba malo za sreću a drugoj nikad nije dosta da bude sretna. Pitanje je 'što je sreča'? Dr Juri Živago ima odgovor _ ne opiri se duhu vremena koji te nosi. To bi ja zaključlila.
