@@xerodragon21 It was set to Easy. Player Style was set to Normal just a couple lines down.

The jaguar sound effect from the Final Dracula fight was also used in the movie Scooby-Doo On Zombie Island in the scene where werecats kill the pirates

It's pretty cool how the game not just gives you difficulty settings along with how many lives you get but also gives an option to change whether you can control your jump or not, makes the difficulty very customizable. Hard with fixed jump arc is like castlevania III difficulty, really don't recommend playing that with less than 9 lives.

I bought this game on my wii right before the e-shop closed, along with the tg-16 port of Rondo. Like the news came out that the shop was closing and these were my first priority.

I don't think the Rebirth games are restricted by Nintendo, having the precendet that mostly all exclusive Castlevania games for Nintendo consoles are already playable on other platforms.

oh trust me, you haven't seen anything until you played Hard on classic. which, by the way, Hard slightly changes level layout. and the changes to stage 5 are nightmarish

I was playing Castlevania Legends while watching this and Legends made me want to rage-quit the day and go to sleep instead. Adventure Rebirth seems like a more fair game than Legends, I do hope that Konami will re-release it some day.
