​​@@JermyLerm Richter starting as an incompetent vampire killer isn't the problem imo. A story without character development isn't very interesting. I think the problem is how they dealt with it and the rushed nature of it all (not to mention relying too much on his past because tragic backstory). Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and give us a better s2. Also video games that don't focus on storytelling don't have a problem with using OP characters cause the person playing the game gets to feel powerful as well.

The key actually does a TON of damage. And I think most of the alternate paths (aside from Stage 2') are faster then the standard ones. So the TAS goes to stage 2 to get the key, then takes the alternate route through up to standard Stage 5. (Stage 5' requires beating the game with both Richter and Maria).
