Those scythes in the Death fight come at you based on where you were standing just before they shoot out, not random but still really hard to dodge. Good incentive to use platforms in my experience! Good speedrun, I'm playing the Dracula X Chronicles version right now and didn't know most of these areas existed. This might be worth a few playthroughs.

I always go the alternate route, I like the stages better, more variety and alternate 5 is the best stage in the game with the best track, you gotta beat it once to play it though as death is a jerk the playthrough and makes you go to his stage.
