@foglalatazanyad3 жыл бұрын
@Norma Bates those new songs, lack and depth, any meaning any purpose , they lack the kind of poetry the previous ones had, and that sound and feeling the old songs gave, i mean songs like Everlasting scar, that melody have so fckin strong emotions in it, feels like thorns entwining the soul, squeezing and puncturing it sprouting blood and sorrow. in the new songs its just a cold wind blowing over a lifeless tree. and thats it.

Draconian's lyrics are totally connected to the occult, only a layman doesn't realize it. And I believe the band members follow Hyperborea
@HeavyReign123 жыл бұрын
Hyperborea? Explain please. I'm a complete novice to the occult world. I read some Evola because his specific political views fascinated me and was introduced to an entire mythos that I was not aware existed. Like hyperborea, and the primordial traditions. I love this shit so much, and my instinctual draw to it makes it feel that maybe some of it is true after all. I also think Gojira may be familiar with the Gnostic gospels.

They're singing about a religion called Gnosticism.
@jakubklinger22893 жыл бұрын
@@mynameisalwaystaken7274 My interepretation based on some studies on Gnosticism: Song portrays an act of rebellion gainst Demiurge, called Saklas here. Sabaoth was a name given to the son of Ialdabaoth, ruller of Jupiter (Demiurge/Saklas), who dethroned his father from the throne of Saturn. Ialdabaoth was thrown into Tartarus (abyss/hell). (Read: "Hypostasy of the Archonts" ) Line "rattle the chains of Saklas" encourages to fight against Demiurge and his weary material creation. Verse "Oh, gracious mother You are trapped here with us In the darkness of Saturn" speaks about the Sophia, female Aeon and symbol of Wisdom. She emmanated powers, amazed by Almighty God's (true Father, not Jehova/Demiurge), yet she did so without the contest of other spiritual beings. She created Demiurge, vicious malevolent ruller who created flawed material world. In that sense, Sophia contributed to the tragedy of this world. She has been forgiven by Almighty Father and spiritual Christ, yet she remained a symbol of tragedy for Gnostics. This female aspect of God have been explored through the whole album. "Under a Godless Veil" is a concept album, mainly describing Sophia's sorrow, fall from grace and repentance. Wonderful theme and some very inteligent, elaborate lyrics.
