The birch of it is, she Did change Dracula, she made him fall in love and find a light in living life again... Having her die from natural causes after a full, long life with kids and likely grandkids to send her off? Bittersweet and sad yes... But Dracula would by then either be ready to live on with fond memories or join her in death like mortals would, quietly so. Instead THIS happens, turning that love and faint spark of genuine hope for a brighter, happier future into scalding, mind-rending hate and wrath that does not have limits. Funnily enough, I think the games might be what happens if This lady never made it to Dracula's castle in the first place and Dracula descending into a cold, nihilistic monster all alone on his own. One who never knew hope to begin with.

I can understand Dracula's rage here, but I kind of have to agree with the overkill thing. Like, why punish so many who back then were commonly ruled over by the Church via fear (hence why no one even would have said anything in the first place) and so just stood by and let it happen? No, if anything he should have done it should have been to wage his war directly against the Church and seek to burn it literally done to the ground. However, in a way Dracula was definitely a fool, since he already knew the idiotic cruelty of humans, so I'm just like 'why didn't he at least leave some kind of monsters as guards to watch his wife and only act if her life was directly threatened?'. Lisa herself was also a bit off in not being forward-thinking enough to foresee a terrible outcome like this, although I actually kind of have to also really doubt that she could have gotten her husband to agree that if something really horrible like this happened to her for him to promise not to completely lose his mind and go genocidal on the whole human race for a few turds did.

Noice, Nasty is probably gonna like it the most, recognising all the old school monsters, characters, etc 😘👌 The short short summary is this is based on elements of #3 on the NES first (especially the main 3 protags and how they work together), then Symphony on Playstation (Drac's waifu and the circumstances behind alucard's birth and his outlook on people, also the "important" demons under Drac's control) and finally Curse of Darkness (from Season 2 on) Grand finale also dips back to Lament of Innocence. It's a great show but i feel like you get a double dip if you played the associated games too I *love* when you can tell the creators are true fans of the source. (Not like that horrific He-man reboot) Season 3 gets _a little weird_ at the end when it tried to go full original but 4 makes up for the speed bump. Best part of this adaptation though is that the games themselves _aren't_ spoilers. It's like what happened with Full Metal Alchemist and the first series veering off to do its own thing.
