I'd say between 1.5-2.2 billion. More than any commanders on a Yonko crew, but less than the Yonko themselves. His strength is comparable to an admiral or Yonko, but unlike either of those things he doesn't have a crew. And a ridiculously strong swordsman can only be in so many places at once after all.

CoCo MoKo Blackbeard, however, is currently stronger than Whitebeard was. And his bounty is far lower. Back in Sabaody, Killer had a much higher bounty than Zoro, despite being far weaker. Arlong was far stronger than Bellamy, Mr. 5, Mr. 4, or potentially even Mr. 2, considering how well he handled Sanji (who didn’t do much training in between the Arlong Park Arc and the Alabaster Arc) but his bounty was much lower. All of these and more are determined by how much of a threat they are to the World Government and, even more so, how much of a threat they are to peaceful societies. Arlong had a guy on the inside who ensured his actions were never reported, so he got a very small bounty as a courtesy to his strength. If it had been known he was holding a whole town hostage, his bounty would have jumped way up (and Smoker would have come in and wrecked him). Blackbeard and his crew are stronger than Whitebeard and his crew were at Marineford, and arguable as strong or stronger than Whitebeard in his prime. His low bounty is because he’s mostly taking out other pirates, rather than turning against innocent people and the WG. Killer had a higher bounty than Zoro and Kid had a higher bounty than Luffy, even though the Straw Hats had rescued the most dangerous person in the world, taken out CP-9, declared war on the WG, and defeated two Warlords at this point. The reason? Kid and Killler murdered innocent people. That’s it. They were both weaker than their Straw Hat counterparts, but while Luffy and Zoro didn’t kill and had no interest in disturbing the peace, Kid and Killer did, so they had more importance put upon they capture. Strength does lend to Bounty, but it does not determine it.

With the abolishment of the Warlord system, I’d love to see Buggy actually start training. After all, he is in the Grand Line (NewWorld? Can’t sally remember) and his Devil Fruit ability could really mess with people if he learned Armament and Observation Haki, not to mention the damage he could do if he awakened his Devil Fruit and was able to Chop Chop up whole building or possibly even islands. Well, his swordfighting is better than Shanks. So it's very easy to assume that he is on par with quite a lot of Yonko. But considering his general threat towards the WG over the past 20 years(he has been a warlord for quite some time), I am fairly certain his bounty wont be large. Hell, even though Kuma was seen as the most loyal warlord, I am fairly certain that Mihawk was the only warlord that wasnt having shady business on the side. I mean, even Kuma reported to the revolutionary army, which to the WG is in fact shady business. So my guess is that his bounty is going to be more than 1 billion, purely due to him being a pirate and the strongest swordsman, but considering his only territory is a fairly insignificant island, he wont be considered a Yonko. I actually kinda feel like they are going to do a bustercall on Mihawk tho. That way, there is both a reason for Mihawk to no longer being the best swordsman, without someone actually killing him. I mean, I am fairly certain his observation is good enough to notice Shiryu, and no way that Shiryu is going to be able to kill Mihawk.

During Chapter 957, Brannew said that Shank's crew have a very high average bounty. So, does that mean Yasopp, Beckman, and Lucky Roo all have bounties well above Blackbeard? If so, then maybe, Mihawk could be some of the very few non-Yonkou characters to get that distinction. I can see him having a big 2.5 or even a 3 billion bounty.

Mihawk and shanks used to fight regularly and they both have an even record before shanks lost his arm and Mihawk lost interest in their duels. Now he looks for a new challenger for his title and even if he looses he will look only for the next duel again. This was evidenced when he first met Zoro he was actually excited to meet someone like him and encouraged him to come meet him in the new world and even trained him when Zoro proved himself passionate enough

I know this video is old, but I just wanted to mention that in the Vivre Cards it's confirmed that Mihawk is awaiting the day a swordsman even stronger than his old rival Shanks emerges. Like, I see a lot of people trying to say this is just vague and you can't say much about it, but I disagree. This clearly says that for a challenge, for even a possibility to be defeated, an opponent would need to be stronger than a two armed Shanks was. And we should honestly consider the possibility that Shanks is weaker nowadays than he was back then, or maybe on a similar level. Because he needed to master swordsmanship with his other arm which is a BIG DEAL. Seriously. Losing your strong arm and having to learn the craft you learned for decades with the other all of a sudden? Yeah, Shanks would have needed years and years to get back to where he was. And it's not like Mihawk just sleeps in that time. Obviously Mihawk would be stronger than he was back in the day. So yeah, Mihawk is clearly stronger than Shanks. Sorry but assuming anything else is kinda delusional in my opinion. Also, if that is not enough for anyone reading, the vivre cards also confirm that Mihawk is actually the strongest of all swordsmen int he world, NOT just in title. And what is Shanks? A swordsman. People love denying that, but seriously. He was the rival of the worlds strongest SWORDsman, when he faced Whitebeard he used a SWORD, when blocking Akainus attack he used a SWORD, in every flashback he fights with a SWORD! Shanks is a swordsman, the vivre cards say Mihawk is actually stronger than any other swordsman, Mihawk is stronger than Shanks. It is actually confirmed info, seriously people, accept it. And yeah, I do not think rating Mihawk Yonko level is bold in the slightest. I believe rating him below that is delusional. He is Zoros final goal. And I am 100% certain Luffy and Zoro are gonna on the same kind of level at the end of the series. Even if Luffy is stronger, it is not gonna be by a lot. So I believe Luffy and Zoro are gonna stand at the top of individual combat power at the end of the series, so obviously Zoros final goal is up there too. And again, Mihawk is confirmed to be above Shanks. I don't understand how people are discussing it when it is confirmed canon information lol. Shanks is a Yonko, Mihawk is above him. So I dunno, is Mihawk Yonko level? Lol. When it comes to individual combat, like 1 vs 1, I believe Mihawk is the strongest in the verse right now. The only one I see contesting it is maybe Kaido, but I am not sure about that. Obviously Mihawk could not just run down Kaido, there is a lot more to it than a 1 vs 1, that is the power of a Yonko, territory, armies, politics. So I am not saying Mihawk could just go and fuck up a Yonko if he so wishes, I don't think that is the case. I am merely talking about a hypothetical 1 vs 1 situation. And yeah, in that situation, Shanks is confirmed to lose to Mihawk, Blackbeard is a wildcard as of now but I kinda expect him to still grow in power before facing Luffy so I think currently he would be weaker than Big Mom and Kaido, Big Mom would probably not stand a chance simply because her most destructive attack we witnessed is in swordsmanship and Mihawk should obviously be able to face everything she has to offer with the sword. For Kaido my main point is that Oden was portrayed to be similar to, or stronger than Kaido. I rate Mihawk above Oden. So that is my case there. Obviously we don't have any realistic grasp on their full power by now so we can't accurately compare them, so the only thing I can use as a tool for comparison is Oden.
