@territn88712 жыл бұрын
I also thought it was interesting hearing the girls talk about your years running track! And I think I understood them to say you still hold a track record in the state too (Vermont?)!! Reminded me of one of my nieces that at age 52 still holds a track record for the state of Tennessee! Your track experience definitely helps you keep up with Jim and the horses when you're filming them!!🏃♀️

Well I’m glad the doctor felt confident letting him go back to work as normal. Because it kind of made me cringe when I saw him lifting that round bale feeder. I know how heavy those things are. But if he has the doctors blessing, then it should be fine. They always know what they did with the surgery and how long someone needs to be restricted. It was so wonderful to see Jim out with Horse again. And I absolutely loved hearing him say things that I had absolutely no idea what he was saying to lady. Lol she seems to understand, so that’s the only thing that matters. Good to have you back with the Horses Jim.

Good evening Jim and Brenda, it was a good opportunity to see the horses ..... Lady's shoes,got a real good look at them.They sound different compared to our normal horse shoes on concrete.l would say they are very heavy duty.My goodness how you got on to Lady,l must admit l was cringing thinking about your shoulder 😳 but it was a smashing site to see you riding her.Still looks very cold for you,what was the temperature that day! The girls did a splendid job whilst you took a break and Trudy did make me laugh 😂 getting on Lady,she's a good rider and sits very well on a horse,plenty of confidence riding Lady even when she got a bit excited Trudy handled great.All the very best dear friends 🌱🌱🌱💕

Hi Joyce! We didn't really think about what the temp was, but it was below freezing. You are probably enjoying more signs of spring where you are. But the days are warming up here too and the snow is melting (for now). Yes, Trudy does a great job of riding. Take care!

Good to see you back at work, Jim, but don't push too hard yet. Brenda and the girls did such a good job while you had to take it easy. Thanks for the Video of feeding a round bale to the cattle. I was wondering how you did it. When we were feeding that 220 head we chopped the bales iinto the barn and then drive the wagon into the barn and push the chopped hay down into the wagon. we fed Corn and Hay silage too. I would go up in the silo and trow down silage till The shute was full then had to push my way out.

Have you guys checked yet if the water heater in the trough is leaking low voltage into the water. I notice Lady looked like she was going to get a drink, then didn't. I would check the heater by either unplugging it to see if she will drink, or use a digital voltmeter and make sure one probe is grounded really well and put the other probe into the water to see if there is voltage in the water. I noticed there was another farmer who also mentioned he had a water heater on his cow's trough and they refused to drink from the trough, he found the heater was leaking voltage into the water.

Starting out of the barn yard with the bale you could sure see Lady was full of vim, vigor & vitality. She was ready to get to work. Is it appropriate to say, " glad to see you back in the saddle", even if you rode bareback? 🤔
