As a Heat fan, I thought if someone could fix him it was Spo. He was still inconsistent when he got to Miami but Spo let him be himself and he had some great games in a Heat uniform, he still was mostly a shot chucker with tunnel vision but shown playmaking capabilities when his shot was falling. It doesn't help that he got lazy and erratic after he got that long term deal and was already throwing tantrums about Herro playing over him before the gummy incident. If not for his immaturity and overconfidence, he could've been a decent to great combo guard which we saw glimpses of in his first year in Miami.

In a perfect world, Dion could have been an interesting mix of Gilbert Arenas, Chauncey Bullips and Dwade.... almost like Joe DUmars, but more focus on offense and less on defense...situations like his though teach you a lesson.... I could see him being able to help a lot of kids coming up in similar scenarios. He knew how to ball and could even run point. I think if he had a better image of himself he would make a good coach. But, he always made me feel like he felt he was an outcast.
