I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. If Danny Ferry had an "ordinary"'contract, and was a #15-20 pick, he wouldn't be considered an all-time worst lottery pick. But of course, being a high pick, with that high salary, led to high expectations. So, I guess when he signed the big contract, he also signed up for the scrutiny.

A 33 pt outburst in the G league is wild 😂 Also it would help showing him getting his shots pinned and abused on defense during the stunt part. You’re telling us how bad he had it in the lg while showing amazing highlights. Let me see him getting dunked on and someone doing the too little sign or something

If Phoenix would’ve kept him he could’ve had Rubio and cp3 as his mentors and if your telling me he wouldn’t be a starting caliber guard in the league today after that out your mind. La could use him they have no real point guard

One story about Felder I have. During around 2020 quarantine, I ran into him on NBA 2K20 Park, he was waiting on the got next spot on a nearby court, and while he had the NBA logo given to players above his head, nobody crowded around him as he was alone on the spot. I decided to join him and so did another person. When the game started, the opposing team started asking each other about who he was. I had known his name from his time on the Cavs, but I didn't know about his personal story. Since he was an NBA player you might expect him to have an ego and take every shot, while not knowing who me and my teammate were, but instead he played unselfishly and created shots for us despite not being able to make enough and we lost the game. Forgive me for missing all those wide open shots.

Damn, I went to high school and graduated the same year as this guy. There was so much hype surrounding this guy and I can't believe his talent never materialized. However, shoutout to his teammate - SOLOMON HILL - who made it to the league, despite the lack of hype out of high school or college.

If they counted assists in the 80s the way they do now he would have averaged double digit assists during his prime years.

as a pelicans fan, nothing went wrong on his behalf. it’s just our front office doesn’t know what they’re doing. either that or they made it official we’re tanking. he looked good on the floor for us. hes a solid backup pg. it’s just the league has changed and they’re obsessed with trying to find young projects instead of settling for established vets

My friend played against him in high school and said he was a stud and could pretty much do whatever he wanted. I was hyped that the Pistons drafted him too. Maybe he was ahead of his time and could be a Keegan Murray type player in today’s NBA

They were never going to get Tatum(Sixers) the Celtics were going to draft him and only traded because the Sixers wanted Fulz. So it's pointless to wonder. The only way it could have happened is if they lied to the Celtics and drafted him which would kills the Sixers reputation and make gm's not want to work with them.
