Thank you very much. I love your work. Please does this pattern already have sewing allowance or you have to add the allowance while cutting on the material??

Thank you dear. No, It doesn't have an allowance. Add the allowance while cutting on the fabric.

Sorry for too my too much questions. What did you use to get the armhole with line? Is it the busy divided by 4?

It's alright dear, we are all here to learn.

I'm quite confused at the shoulder. After marking the neck width, did you use the remaining left inches of the shoulder to mark the slanted line?

Check out the size chart

In inches, how many did you take both for back and front for shoulder slant?
@ellesordesigns Жыл бұрын
There's a size chart that appears att the beginning of the video. All the measurements I used to draft the pattern was gotten from the chart.

To determine your size, just convert your bust measurement from inches to cm. Just turn the back of your tape to see what the bust measurement is in cm E.g. Assuming your bust is 38 inches, converting it to cm will be 96.3cm. if you turn the back of your tape where measurements where recorded in cm you will see it's 96.3cm there. What it means is that the size of someone with a bust of 38 inches (96.3cm) is size 16 according to the chart. So down the column copy out other measurements that falls under size 16. Use your exact waist and hip measurement not the one in the chart. Other measurements that falls under size 16 you might not need to use them all. So now when you're rewatching the video, you will notice all the exact measurements I used apart from the Bust, waist and hip were gotten from the chart. You will now understand how I got the shoulder slant as well as the armhole. Remember this method is applicable to all sizes. Just follow the steps in the video. I hope this answers all your questions. I got the chart from a pattern making book called "metric pattern cutting for women's wear by Winifred Aldrich" It's similar to the one by Natalie bray
