Can you make a video going into detail about the Roblox API website and about the general way the language works? E.g explaining methods, constructors, properties, attributes, how someone can effectively learn about new methods/events and the different enums?

BrawlDev I will make sure that you're compensated for all the teachings you've been giving. You truly don't understand how much of a critical role you play in our developing journey. A lot of us are fully committed to video game design, hence us still watching your vids. You'll know exactly what I'm talking about soon enough.

hi brawldev! i am at this episode of the playlist, as i just want to thank you for helping me get across the journey. a few years ago i attempted to make roblox games with my sister, sadly we got as close to nowhere. i decided to try scripting again just a month or two, and look who i found. i immediately binged all the playlists, typing up notes, and here we are. i finally feel like ive redeemed myself a few years ago. if you werent there, i wouldnt have felt myself being confident at making games again or have any knowledge on scripting. i see most tutorials provide “quick and easy” information and they are apparently “op” tutorials, as yours are longer and provide a deep understanding of the topic, and i would definitely go for your style, as scripting skills never arrive in a day. you are the best teacher! ❤

Hey are you making a video on ray casts? if not I'd recommend you do. There incredibly important for things like FPS games. Also, for a long time I was stuck in this "beginner phase". I only knew the basics and couldn't find any way to learn more. These videos helped me learn WAY more than I would've ever learned and really boosted my motivation to make Roblox games. Ty so much. I wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for you

Hey Brawl Dev, I'm still on the beginner's tutorial, but this is your latest video about you teaching, so I have a question. Is it fine that I have been keeping everything I have copied? What I mean is, if you said to delete it, I keep it and just make another one. I'm on like the 8th video. Should I restart it and follow everything, including deleting, or keep it? (I'm very willing to restart if you say so because I'm excited to become a dev!)

For pathfinding you can just use the simple path module which simplifies the pathfinding process, but if you want more customization you can learn about pathfinding links and modifiers.

Your scripting series is very helpful, but it does not really show what a professional workflow for a multiplayer game looks like. I tried to do a very simple thing - apply force to a player character when they touch a selected object. I took the script directly from an example in the Roblox documentation, and it simply did not work! It took me a few days to understand that directly using ApplyForce on humanoidRoot from the server side does not work (but vectorForce does!), also from the client side applying ApplyForce to humanoidRoot or changing the settings of LinearVelocity, which is a child of humanoidRoot and affects it, makes this movement replicate automatically to the server. A serious material presenting on a small project but including all the problems a scripter has to deal with when writing a multiplayer game, when and how things replicate, what is network ownership, how to deal with cheaters, etc. would be useful.
