You know it! Just need to get out there and mess with it some more. Also the suspension needs a ton more work and modify gearing for better launches. Thanks for watching brother.

Hi Greg how’s everything I have other question for u sir on the VTE2 can you use perfect past carbon fiber driveshaft on that rig? What are the differences is there a difference are the shops made for that Rick specifically can I take the carbon fiber driveshafts out of my way to Infraction and pop those in the VTE
@GregSupe Жыл бұрын
Yo yooo!! Going good brother. You need to get the shafts specific to the VTE2. They are a differnet length. They have the new V3 ones made for the VTE2 but not in stock as of now, hopefully soon. Link here amzn.to/3J58fHB

Look into how you can set your radio up to slowly ramp up speed even with a quick pull. Look for drag setups for transmitters
@GregSupe Жыл бұрын
Yea i got that, its called channel speed on mine. Honestly i really havent spent enough time with setting it up. Its still geared for top speed, something like 160mph, also needed a ton more suspension work.
@fredericktodd5789 Жыл бұрын
@Greg Supe Yeah these cars takes a lot of tuning. That's why I like it, it's a challenge. I won't be able to start my build for at least another month, just had surgery. But the parts are coming in!

Adjust your spring tension. If rc is pulling to the left on launch,tighten left side springs. This should help.

Thanks brother, gotta mess around with the hobao a ton more, really havent spent much time setting it up. diffs n springs need adjusting for sure

It is a tedious process! Look up vids on suspension set up for drag racing. It's been years since I've done it. Spring tension being even makes all the difference in going straight.

Nice runs, the tire smoke your getting looks pretty sweet. You seem to know alot about the limitless so I was wondering if you had an answer for a question I haven't been able figure out. On the V2 limitless are you able to get larger than stock spur gears? Like for example is the gear from the infraction a direct fit? I don't have a ton of room where I'm gonna be driving mine so I'd like to be able to gear it down a bunch.
@GregSupe2 жыл бұрын
Yea man i think you can go all the way to 50 or 55T spur without it touching. Just keep in mind the teeth on the spur and pinion needs to add up to 72 and above for it to mesh correctly with the stock motor mount.
@85CEKR2 жыл бұрын
@@GregSupe thanks alot for the info, I haven't found anything like that on the arrma website, is there a specific brand that sells them?
@GregSupe2 жыл бұрын
@Craig Krueger Check speedtekrc.com or sagacustomrc.com. For spools you are looking for 8mm bore and you need to checkthe motor shaft diameter for pinion pore sizes 👍🏾

GRP tires are garbage, i use powerhobby tires, never ever popped a tire. DBoots are garbage as well, and foam tires you will not get that many runs our of them. Especiall if you trim them and balance them. Wasted money.
